    Hi flyers

I've kept myself busy today. All my ironing done and put past. stuck DS1's bedding out on the line looked out and it was pouring so I run out to get it and it was wetter than it was when I put it out so had to re spin before stucking in the TD:mad: Made a pot of soup and have decluttered a bowl for my dinner. I've finished off my lists for the week so I'm well chuffed with myself:T. took Rabbit out on the lead for a wee while when the rain went off. I'm just going to have my HHme time by having a bubble bath and a book:D

Piggers I hope you do exist or I may be needing a shrink:rotfl:

    oh bother

kids have come back.. One is styling hair - involves removing clothes AND DROPPING THEM ONTO CLEAN FLOOR

one is strangely silent - and says there's 'nothing wrong'.

I'm trying to clear my bed - room has had a good clean. Some stuff is going into shed until I can remove it. Dow and arros (we went to Sherwood forest many years ago) in bin. Cracked 1930s bakelite souvenir in bin.

Also cats need to be de-flea'd

and someone weird is posting on the end of last week's thread - I think it is a troll/spammer getting postings up so able to post links. I shall leave the person arguing with the new poster to it.

Agree about last weeks thread Valli!

My brood have also returned - the men have headed off to the pub, but not before they left their sweaty kit all over the kitchen floor...

The girls have also returned - DD1 after her 3rd stint in the local charity shop and....

WARNING - PROUD MOTHER ALERT:- DD2 has passed her First Aid Course!:j:beer: I am delighted for her - this job has given her so much confidance she has blossomed over the last few months!:D:D

Fajitas have been made and nommed, and the washing up done.

DD2 is getting ready to go out.... cy sighs heavily at the knowledge of the trail of devastation that usually ensues...

pigpen - I did wonder whether squeak was posting for you..;);)

Valli - reading bck over your posts today - have the Vallikids been with their dadtoday?

I was just wondering whether the very quiet Vallikid ( ?DS - ie not the on involved in messy hair styling?) has been talking to his dad who has stressed how broke he is.....

Maybe DS is stressing about how he/you will cope with the cost of Uni?

    Just a thought...

Hi there. Just a quick catch up and post. I thought I would have quiet day but have not stopped from when I got up - cat has only one flea (well, that's all that we found) but is allergic to them, so took hours to do his bedding, flooring, couches, our bedding & anything we could think of, to deep clean, wash, spray etc. Went then to do sick friend's shopping and lllldid mini tidy there, walked other end of town to store only to find item seen yesterday wasn't suitable, walked back, then bank & post office for friend, then our shopping! Had left OH to hoover everything after flea spray had dried so he was busy. He came to pick me up and on return home we ran into neighbour from two doors down who was ranting on for 45 mins about folk next to her - what a day!

Both missed lunch so have had quick microwave pasta, big cuppa and a sit down!! Since then I have brought in all washing and just wrapped OH gifts for tomorrow, so can relax now (I hope).

I hope everyone's day has gone as well as can be and good vibes to everyone.

PS Pigpen - had to chuckle at your reply "20 hours" (left until you can go home). Are you counting down or what! It must be only 19 hours and 30 minutes now!! I've done what you are doing and it's b@@@@y awful to be
stuck where you don't want to be, with people you don't want to be with.

I would get de-mob happy and be quite pleasant about an hour before going home, I'm sure they thought I'd had a good time, so I stopped that!! Hope the times goes quickly for you.
