Thanks JulieJim. It's the last of four washloads from yesterday! I'm really not that slovenly, close though!

Right, I'm clean and all bins emptied, so off for walkies now.

    Morning!

Phone rang at 2.30am it was the local Street Angels (or whatever they are called) - DS was incapapble of getting home and no taxi would take him... and all his mates had left him..

OH had to walk into town - about 1.5 miles and drag him home.

In DS's defence, he claims he hadn't had a drink since 11.30 - and i was texting him at around 11 with the result of the boxing ( he was sober enough to ask if it was a knock out or a technical knock out... which adds credence to his story).

Normally after a night out DS stinks like a distillery...but when OH reached him he didn't smell at all. He claims his drink was spiked ( it was a races weekend).. and I might believe him. On the walk home it was, according to OH, like talking to a goldfish - he kept on forgetting stuff and the same conversation went round and round in circles...

And my mum will be here in hour or so and I feel like death....

Back again, walkies, recycling, washing all done. Chicken in slow cooker. Just having what I consider to be a well earned cuppa then out to do the garden.

Amyloofoo - fingers crossed for DH
cyclingyorkie - I feel your pain, my DD and DS taking it in turns each weekend to misbehave at the moment. They don't usually get drunk either.

Hi everyone  one of the special 10 reporting in here - I've had a super busy week with uni work so I've not managed to tackle the lists really. I have done my usual dailies and have been doing quick blitzes this weekend to keep the house looking decent. In 9 weeks time I will have finished my uni course, and although I hope to be working full time (if I manage to get a job!), I want to be able to do flylady as it is best to do it - a little bit each day, rather than my current tactic of basic surface cleaning on a weekend.

    So far today I have:

    Emptied dishrack
    Washed up breakfast dishes
    WM x 1
Folded dry laundry from yesterday (for ironing later)
    Stripped bed
    Handwashed/scrubbed a stained top

My plans for the rest of the day are:

    More WM (x2)
Hang laundry outside - its beautifully sunny here
Empty ironing basket (not much to do this week because I have decided only to iron what really needs it)
    Clean sheets on bed
Tidy, dust, hoover and mop all upstairs rooms
Get OH to clean the bathroom
    Mop the kitchen

I will also be doing lots of uni work today, and these cleaning tasks will be done when I want/need a break.

Hope you're all having a nice weekend. :)

    Good afternoon :D

I didn't get on yesterday. Went to art in the morning- did a little drawing as well as the money stuff, and we had a committee meeting. The rest of the committe don't want me to stand down as treasurer (no surprise there - no one else wants to do it!!), but they have agreed to share the work load :)

then went out for lunch with DH and DD2, and popped into George for some bits for our holibobs :D Got DD2 an itsy bitsy teeny weeny red polka dot bikini :rotfl:

DH took the dog out (the weather was awful yesterday) while I had a little nap :o DS out all day with friends. DH & I went to a friends 40th - first time we have been 'out out' in ages!

DH tried to put the cushion covers & dolls clothes in the TD but was alarmed by the smell of burning  I cleaned the condensor (which wasn't too bad) & tried again. No smell of burning - but no tumbling either  Looks like a new TD is needed as well as a new front door :( And it looks like I may have to go to the Bank of Mum for a loan for the door, as they don't take cards - and we won't have the cash until after the holiday :( Ho hum :o

Ok - 1 load of washing just finished. need to get that out & the next lot on to take advantage of the better weather today. Also need to take the dog out, and maybe do some work. i will chack the lists as well.

We've had two celebrations this week, alcohol free for DH for first time ever and all going really well, into 3rd week now and no problems.

:j Yay this is great news, well done to your DH

I didn't end up getting a lot done yesterday as the local bully and his gang had hold of DS and I ended up having the police out. Shame he's only 9 so not a lot can be done.

Hugs for you both, toad of a child.

Nice of you to report in, where are the other 9 - I've fogotton who's who - Bonnie are you keeping tabs on your special recruits?

I've spent this morning going through all the stuff from one of the cupboards in the Dining Room before it goes back in. Just a little bit left to do and then onto the book cupboard. I need to wait for DH to help and he's gone for a lay down as he's not sleeping well atm :(

DS2&3 are gutting the playhouse, I'm leaving them too it and hoping the missing shoe turns up in there.

Really should pop to Mr T for food (coupon to use) and petrol but not in the mood just yet, a cuppa first I think.

Good washing drying day, wash 2 on the line and wash 3 in the machine.
