Hazy there's no such thing as failure here.:naughty: Flying by proxy is allowed, particularly given your current circumstances. Sit back, direct others as to what to do, and concentrate on getting well. Sending lots of GWS vibes your way.:o

I'm fine! Thanks for your concern though. I slept for an hour and woke up dozy but OK and I've cooked dinner. It was like the feeling I get when I have a migraine only then the pain goes from my head down my arm. Usually happens when I'm tired and/or stressed.

    xx

Just checking in for the end of the week! Not caught up on thread (again - sorry!) so hope everyone is ok.
Since my smugness at finishing the lists yesterday I've done virtually nothing around the house all weekend :o so now that the kids are all either in bed or about to be and DH is doing the ironing/watching tour de france I'm going to spend an hour whizzing round so that I'm not starting the new week's lists back at square one.

    >I'm fine!

Very glad to hear it, Bonnie. Look after yourself - you are irreplaceable!

Pigpen, that is wonderful news about Fabian coming home! Have been thinking of you all day and willing you to keep calm and aloof
    :-)

Take it easy, Hazy, and get well soon.

Yes, I'm another of the "ten newbies" - and no, I didn't quite finish all last week's flylady list, but I have been out in the garden for 4 hours this afternoon, weeding and then laying down weed-suppressing membrane along the front border where I planted well spaced-out lavender bushes last year (come on, stop laughing, all of you - you know exactly what I mean!!!) and the weed seeds from the farmyard manure took advantage and germinated all over the place. DH eventually came out to help me with the big sacks of bark chippings when I had already done more than half the job, but he did help me finish much sooner than I would have done on my own, so I am very grateful for small mercies.

As they say, tomorrow is another day and a fresh start.

DS is trying a slice of toast. Think his drink was spiked - he has no memory of anything after 11.30pm when they left a winebar.

5 washloads done, all dry and neatly folded. Roast dinner cooked and washing up done - and put away.

Mother departed to pass Pigpen on the motorway - going in the opposite direction...

The DD's have gone for a walk - it is a lovely evening here. I shall go when they get back - then it's bath and bed when DH has got back from cricket.. I am so tired i could weep.

Hi there - and Dustykitten - I am one of the 10!

    I know there are also:
    dragonette
    deus
    optimistic mummy
Hazy days (you relax a bit - housework will always be there! - and I hope you soon feel better)

    (hi all!)

and Mrs Bee? (apologies, Mrs Bee, if not) - and a message to Bonnie, who is looking after us, Bonnie - help - hotpants? I've been in the nuddy all day!!!!!!!!

Bonnie, I do hope you are feeling better, too. Do get checked out if those symptoms come back, won't you?

Had a busy day again here - what happened to a restful weekend? Well, to tell the truth, a busy morning, have chilled out since 1pm and we've been playing a computer game (one I got OH for his birthday)!

So, OH's birthday, and we had a lazy breakfast, he opened his pressies and tried things on, read things etc etc! Then we had a busy couple of hours hoovering (still de-flea-ing cat and covers and carpets), cleaned bathroom, bedrooms, changed bed linen, I did half hour ironing, 3 wash-loads, cleaned kitchen and patio! Shower, quick soup & toastie & fruit for lunch, then we've been on the laptops since with a few cups of tea made in between!! Any bird lovers - Mr & Mrs Blackbird both here today, plus babies and the 2 little robins and usual starlings.

We're having a Chinese takeaway - going for it soon - and a dvd (alien/thriller type thing) tonight and OH says he's really enjoyed his day (think he's forgotten I got him cleaning!).

I've enjoyed my second week flying, and look forward to the lists and the start of the new week. Good vibes to everyone, good health to all the poorly ones, bye for now, x.

    Hi

Not a lot done today but still tidy, just bathed kiddies and dispatched to bed. Thanks to mse forum advice, I have sold my dh's Xbox 360 and gubbins to CEX. It's all packed up and I'm trading it in, so hopefully once they check it over and give me the all clear, I'll order a DVD player, maybe bluray, and if there's enough left over get a portable DVD for the kids.

Looked in DS mouth tonight and omg his tonsils are huge they almost meet in the middle. He doesn't seem unwell, hasn't complained (till bedtime of course) and they don't look overly red or spotty. Just enormous. Our surgery opens at 7 tomorrow so am going to call them first thing and get it checked out. Looks quite alarming...

    See you all "next week"
