Please newbies and the 'special 10'

remember the Forth Bridge - CONSTANTLY being painted...(not since the new, magic paint was invented though) well your house is like that - it will all want doing again; it all comes round again but

    DO NOT DESPAIR

    - keeping up with the lists isn't compulsory - having said that having some form of a routine DOES help - it wont get dire especially if

you S&S on a regular basis
chuck out as much detritis as you can get away with (fewer ornament means less to dust;))

and you are allowed 'me' time.

But never, ever, ever think not completing the list = failure - it so does NOT
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

Looked in DS mouth tonight and omg his tonsils are huge they almost meet in the middle. He doesn't seem unwell, hasn't complained (till bedtime of course) and they don't look overly red or spotty. Just enormous. Our surgery opens at 7 tomorrow so am going to call them first thing and get it checked out. Looks quite alarming...

    See you all "next week"

They are meant to be like that.. seriously, many children have very large tonsils and so long as they are not unwell or anything they are just normal.. some children have large adenoids too but you can't see those.. but that is why they are snorty and nasaly sometimes.

I wouldn't worry unless he is complaining of a sore throat.

They also increase in size when they are fighting off an infection.. just a simple cold virus can cause them to be bigger because they are working properly.

    WE ARE HOME!!!!!!!

    Gosh I love my squalor!!!

We got in and Squeak said.. Georges house... Freja's house... and did a huge grin and added MINE house!!!! She then ate a plate full of food at her own comfy little table after eating nothing but fruit, yoghurts and cereal all weekend... I think she is pleased to be home too.

I once read something along the lines of: "housework is never completed.. so don't try to complete it" :rotfl:

I love the feeling of ticking off everything on the daily flylady list but it's not something I can manage very often. Some days I'll only manage one item :o But I have to tell myself that even doing just one item is better than nothing, and I guess as long as I do some of it, regularly, the flat doesn't look too bad.

    thanks Valli :)

    Evening all

Still putting stuff back in the dining room/study but what is back is clean and mainly sorted. Need to buy new curtains and a rug for in there but think I'll wait until the new IKEA stuff is out which I think will be next month.

Need to get DS3 to bed in a minute and then do HHI.

hope you are all well, x
