    *sneeze*

I have 'bottomed' DS's room - it was a pit. I hope that the tidiness will spur him on to sort out his paperwork. Hopefully the clean-ness will reduce the hay fever symptoms. I have to confess though stuff has been stuffed in drawers. But better in a drawer then on the floor.

I have de-tissued DD's bedroom (hay fever also)

Am pondering agreat mystery of life...

Why is it that teenagers leave rubbish lying around when there is a waste paper basket or a bin IN THE ROOM THEY ARE LEAVING STUFF LYING AROUND IN?

Gonna have a :coffee: and a play now - anyone want one?

    :coffee::coffee:

and talking of coffee IMHO people who have reduced their child support to £5 because they have been made redundant shouldn't be buying :coffee:

and dropping the empty cup in their ex-wife's bin.

maybe he thought I would be adding strychnine to the :coffee: I offer him;):rotfl:

    Agree on all counts Valli!

Since 1 o'clock I have eaten lunch, hoovered the hall, landing and stairs - (the stairs were brushed first), emptied the hoover, hoovered the living room (and emptied the hoover again:o:o).

I have also rehomed some of the gibble that had ben left on the stairs - goodness only knows why OH and offspring cannot pick up their stuff from the stairs and take it up....

Next task - have a go at the room of doom - ie the dining room. This quite small room currently contains the dining table, 2 computers, my ironing board and a very large recliner chair...

It currently looks like a war zone ........

But first a cup of tea is called for.....:D:D:D

Miraculously, though, no sod trips over any of it!

Stuff on the stairs, my dear flyfriend, is invisible to anyone other than

1 - the person who put it there
2 - visitors to your home over the age of 21

This forms the basis of Valli's Rule Of Life No. 5

Putting stuff on the stairs to be taken up by anyone going up (or at the top of the stairs to be brought down) is a waste of time because (see points 1 & 2, above)

Miraculously, though, no-body trips over any of it!

How true! People moan about it, but somehow manage to negotiate a route anyway.... even in the dark when inebriated ( I am, of course, referring to my 2 youngest here!;))

It was our staff do too last night - spot those who work in education. I was good - I was on mineral water all night ( largely due to the fact that I was cycling, but partly due to being on slimming world...). I was home by 10.30pm - York ( esp that side of York) is NOT the place to be after a race meeting - it was a bit like the wild west....

    Afternoon all

    Bathroom cleaned

Downstairs is a complete tip as everything from the dining room/study is in the other 3 rooms as DH is oiling the oak floor today. Cupboards have had to be emptied to move them so all their contents are spread everywhere too, I intend to sort it all out before putting it all back but am lacking GUAG atm.

Just going to spend 5 minutes dead heading the roses as there is no rain falling!

    Hi all

Not much flying today, tots are out with gp's and staying over, I have a night out with my WAY group which I'm looking forward to and I'm going to wear A DRESS!

Have tidied toys away, done kitchen dailies and straitened beds. Will have a bath soon, and may paint MY NAILS.

Anybody would think I was a lady, lol, not just somewhere for small people to wipe their noses haha. I feel the lipstick coming out too!

Dropped my friends card and pressie, which I forget to take yesterday, so had coffee and natter there, then been to m&s (got nothing) and mr a (lots for storecupboard stash, need to stop now, lol) and done a spot of weeding out front, as was looking very tatty.

So, have ordered my taxi as with no tots to wake me up in wee small hours, I'm going to be drinking significant amounts of wine... Then early aft tomorrow I'll drive over to collect said tots, and be fed meself as mil has said she's doing a roast dinner, and will text me with time she wants me to be there by.

So no cooking for me tomorrow! Yaay!

    Have a good weekend all.
