Have fallen by the wayside a bit these past couple of days.. just managed to get a towels wash done yesterday and that was about it. I'm going to try and get the bathroom fly-ladied today and sort the bottom drawer in my bedroom. Wonder what the weather will be doing. It's been a strange mix of humid and rainy here on the south coast.

Ive been up since 7am cause I was DS1's alarm clock again. Feeling not too bad as I was asleep before 8pm last night. So far today I have WM x2, TD, line pegged, bathed DD, bins emptied, recycling oot, stripped DS1's bed, fed the fish, took dog out, decluttered the scullery and the LR, just about to wash the breakfast stuff and go make the beds that have 5 mins since been vacated. I feel a mega HHI coming on:mad:

Nobody ever thinks of how their behaviour will impact on lunchtime supervisors.... we arrived in today and 2 TAs were doing a display for September - they had covered 3 tables with thier stuff!!!!!!!!!! Honestly a bit of flylady organisation is called for! One had put up a red background and 4 random stars before getting down and asking all the adults around if she was doing the flag of China correctly..... surely she checked online first...

I do:D I make sure the kids tidy their tables before lunch as they have to eat in their classrooms;)

I have complained to a well known chintzy designer about a dishwasher safe mugs which clearly aren't. DD is gutted - it was her gift. We had our end of term do - in Valliland THEN some people decided to go drinking - in STEEL CITY - cue two taxis to take us there including me (less than happy but having my arm twisted). I was brought home by a knight in a shiny automobile at about 2am when I put the DW and WM on before retiring) Fortunately I had only had halves of lager (as we had had an Indian) so am not feeling at all fragile this morning. WM 1 on line WM 2 about to finish.
In fact I am rather in the mood to tackle pits. Think I will start witht the boudoir.

    This morning I have

    -had a lie-in (very unusual!)
    -phoned DS1
    -emptied kitchen bins
    -eaten breakfast prepared by DH
    -washed up the breakfast things
-tidied the living room and bathroom
    -made the bed
-emptied 2 inches of standing water from large flowerpot. Despite being flooded, the beetroot seeds have germinated and the seedlings appear quite happy; climbing French beans and spring onions in 2 other pots were not flooded and are also germinating
    :-)
-persuaded DH to take his old railway magazines down to our local heritage railway : he can get himself a bacon sandwich there for his lunch and enjoy catching up on the gossip (and leave me in peace for a couple of hours so that I can finish some written work that has to be ready for Monday morning)
-also persuaded him to let me help him take 2 old office chairs to the tip later this afternoon, "to make more space in his garage for his model railway" *grins*
-checked the contents of the freezer in the garage
    -made coffee
-checked what's on at the local cinema (nothing to interest us)
-written up my expenses claim for the past 6 months
-transferred some money to my ISA
-booked appointments for eye test and hairdresser's next week
-had some creative thoughts and solved some problems re the work I'm doing.

Not bad for a damp, grey Saturday morning
    :-))

dragonette - hope your friend is OK!

Well - i have my wish - I am listening to the sound of silence! All family members decluttered until at least 4.30pm!:):)

Now as this is an event as rare as hen's teeth I should be feet up with a good book..... but no!
