Yeah, age range, areas of uselessness and any requirements where wife must be useful would help.

I don't mind useless in some areas if balanced elsewhere... so if you can't cook, fine, delighted to have somebody else to sort my car... if you cook better than me I'll wash up. I can't be dealing with useless as in 'whine about my life expecting someone else to sort it' or 'never does what he said he'd do'.

I'm being told that getting the cat equates to giving up...

PS. mid thirties, passably sane, not bad looking, employed, one cat, more often seen in hiking sandals than high heels :D

A funny thing happened to me today;trying to get out of my weather beaten hamlet early this morning I stopped at a flood. Thinking that I'd better check how deep it was before I took the car through, I slipped into my wellies and was bemusedly paddling away when all of a sudden a large four wheel vehicle came to a halt in front of me. Down came the window and there sat inside was the most beautiful man I've seen in a very long time! Don't know who he was and I expect he's married but it put a smile on this Old Girl's face!
So perhaps you could try lurking round puddles, you never know who you'll meet. Just don't wear waders though, it attracts the wrong sort!

Am sure that's not true - you have a sense of humour and are smart enough to find MSE for a start :)

and although i'm not insane my idea of fun is dancing on a deserted beach at midnight

that's perfectly sane - sounds fun

and a walk last week left me with a sore foot so no hiking in the highlands for me!

:D I don't get to do all that much actual hiking either, but I haven't worn proper heels in years - it's kinda shorthand for 'I so don't do fake tan and would rather watch Frozen Planet than SATC'!

My own sanity. I always tried to appear normal. In public. At home, of course I stick a banana in each ear and turn cartwheels on the lawn at 6am daily.

You could probably find this on You-Tube. ;)

I know of at least seven other couples who met on MSE, five weddings, an engagement and three babies so far.

    You never know :p

Oh. I also have an ISA , book voucher and some left over birthday cake....is this what a man looks for in a wife now:eek:?
Yes :D a pretty face is a good start, although not a race winner, dancing on the deserted beach at midnight shows fun and an individuality, sore foot.... so you can wear high heels in bed, ISA and book voucher, you care where money comes from and how it's spent, cake....... yes please :rotfl:
