Okay here comes the BIG one.... how are you on the *dirty word coming* communiation front? Not talking about football result, or past experience, but on the stand of 'oh oh, she is about to tell me something I'm not sure I want to hear'. Do you listen, take into consideration what she says, tell her what she wants to hear AND then act on it? If so, they are all fools and don't know what they are missing!!!!

Useless, you blew it with your post saying "wife or nothing" !

What that says to me, and i know not everyone will think this way, is that you're looking for someone to look after you. Maybe it's because i've been there and done that and i'm not bothered about doing it again !

Maybe if you say you're looking for a partner rather than a wife you'll get more responses ?

Tiddlywinks, did you know that if you are separated but not divorced, you can't join EHarmony ? I've been separated for 10 years now and i can't join because i put separated on my application form. It's ridiculous.
I'm not divorced because i refuse to spend money on getting rid of my lying cheating ex.

Personally I like the 'looking for a wife', but that's because I think my OH only wants a partner in me and not a wife!!!

I think looking for a wife was the wrong thing to say as well.

Looking for someone to share my life with, is much nicer and gives the impression he wants something more that someone to cook his meals and bring him his slippers.
Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.
  • I hope that means they match the untidy ones with the tidy ones?

Nothing else would make sense. ;)

    In your dreams!

Hire a housekeeper, could be cheaper in the long run ;)

I'm a single woman and there is no way on earth I'd go back to wasting my time on a man who needs "looking after". To be very, very blunt, what would be in it for me (don't suggest intimacy, don't need to be married any more for that. I'm financially independent so don't need to be "kept", so... ? ;) )

Why is it that the intentions are any different whether married or not? If he wants a servant to look after him, he doesn't need a wife, a partner fed of promises might actually do a better job!

    I'll marry you....

Provided you don't need a Mrs that's keen on housework and can live with an unruly 10 year old, two dogs, three cats, two goldfish and a weather loach!
I have no problem with any of the above!

Awwww a match made in heaven. Im popping to the shops to buy a hat in the hopes I get an invite to the wedding :D
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

I've found you a wife. You just need to fetch her from Southampton
