You do sound nice , Rosa.
Have you ever thought of switching sides if a decent man doesn't appear;)?
Aw thanks Angelic - you sound lovely too. (And is that a Ramones quote I spy in your siggy? :T)
I would never rule out switching teams, though I'm sure it doesn't lessen relationship complications!useless_git_requires_wife wrote: »Car maintenance class you say?
hmmmmmmmm...........
I have to say that suggestion doesn't match my experience - I was the only single one there and the rest seemed to have been sent by husbands. Who were either fed up of them not knowing how to work the wipers, or working away and wanted to be sure the wife could manage.useless_git_requires_wife wrote: »You're in the right area.
Sadly I'm not in Scotland, but I do like it. And the accent
My PM box has space... and I have just realised that my DFW diary means my life is summarised for anyone on MSE:doh::o

:T I don't really do FWBs either - the benefits aren't usually worth the complications it causes to the friendship.

I am looking for a husband for my daughter and she is looking for a husband for herself too!
She is 5' 11", extremely beautiful ( if i do say so myself )
Final year of mental health nurse training.
Non smoker
Occasional drinker
Intelligent, liberal and also conservative ( with a small "c")
Many, MANY dates over the years but...you know what? Some men are just TOO odd although she understands that all men are a bit odd.
Happy to "look after" a husband as long as he "looks after" her too
Any takers?
(Yep, i did ask her if I could post on here and she said it was fine as long as i didn't make her sufficiently identifiable to be laughed at in the street)0 -
Ohhh runningwoman....brilliant post!0

Own car - Timothy the Yaris (don't ask)
Has job
Non smoker
Rarely drinks (but quite partial to the odd diet irn bru and ice)
Quite likes the scones in Dobbies (free cups of tea though the gardening club of course to go with it i.e. not scared to use vouchers now and then).
Tall (5ft 10)
Pulse and sense of humour - most important for any potential suitors for me.

Don't worry too much about this, i am useless at both and still managed to find a guy (plentyoffish!) who will put up with me. Actually he's spurred me on to clean up and cook more so its not always a bad thing, learning things together can be part of the fun (god know how i found a guy who likes to clean..apparently they do exist)This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Looking for someone to share my life with, is much nicer and gives the impression he wants something more that someone to cook his meals and bring him his slippers.
I understand what you mean but I'm quite a traditionalist and I believe in marriage, so for me 'sharing my life' with a woman is synonymous with marriage....the word has no negative connotations in my mind. Although I'm serious about finding 'the one', I can see the humour in the situation (:)), hence my username and thread title (which was just a bit of thinking out loud really!).''apply within''0 -
Anyway.....breaking news!
I got chatting with a woman in church yesterday.
Although I had spoken to her once or twice before, I somehow never quite 'noticed' her if you know what I mean. So we had this nice chat and I kind of saw her in a new light. Long story short....we have a vague arrangement to meet on Thursday (vague only due to possible work commitments....there is a firm intent to meet!).
Funny old world!''apply within''0 -
