It's not going very well, just had my car serviced, oil change, brake fluid change, two new rear brake pads £325. :(

Tax bill at the end of Jan £1400. :(

Last two months I've overpaid the princely sum of £50, it'll be another £25 in Feb.

Who knows when I'll get my C/A back in the black

I need to make some positive steps to get finances back in order.

Sounds like you have had a very expensive month. I am sure that you'll get back on track in no time at all :grouphug:.

    Long time no post.

The overpaying has taken a bit of a back seat, struggling a little bit to get sorted financially and I think it'll take until the end of June to get straight again.

Just in the process of switching estate agents, so hopefully that will help.

Got a stag do in Liverpool tomorrow and then Center Parcs on Monday in the lakes followed by Sun Holiday up there too - can't wait!!!

    Hope everything's OK, QBW.

Do keep posting on here even if you're not able to make any MOPs. It will help you get things sorted sooner. (Says she who's just been AWOL for weeks. :o)

We had a viewing last week, Mrs QBW spent 3 hrs getting the house sorted, they were here 9 minutes and that was it. Heard nothing since....

Hiya QBW. I experienced that today. Had a viewing on my house and the couple stayed less than 10 minutes and left, without asking any questions or anything that indicated they were interested. I'd spent a good while getting the house ready too.
The market is picking up though apparently, so chin up. :)

Wow thanks to those who have posted on my thread in my absence.

Not a lot to say, had a great weeks holiday Center Parcs, followed by a Sun holiday in the lakes - first time up there and loved it.

We've changed estate agents, still can't get my current account in the black and all a bit depressing financially, but apart from that life is pretty good.

Need to get fit so have started running  Have updated siggy with latest position.
