Thanks guys. :) Poor DH, he has a glass of wine but instead of celebrating he is prepping for tomorrow morning's 2nd interview.
He is starting work next Thursday, presuming he doesn't get another offer before. He has to set up a limited company to get paid (tomorrow, before prepping for Thursday's interview LOL) and unfortunately we need a car - don't think we'll manage that before thursday though.

WCS I had to google that, doesn't sound nice. : (
I hope it can be adequately controlled.

Fuddle it's easy if faffy (if that's a word) to do the two tone icing, and looks fab. I have neon orange and purple colouring so that's what I'll be doing for halloween.

Possession, so pleased, really good news

WCS all my sympathy and hoping like mad it remains one of the milder types- how are they proposing to treat it? Is there anything you can do for it yourself (exercise etc) now that you know?
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

I'm waiting for more blood tests prior to starting new meds - DMARDs which they are hoping will slow down progress and alleviate some of the fatigue. I've had osteo-arthritis for a couple of years, which includes slipped discs in my spine, and have been shattered for about 6 months now - i'm hoping the new drugs will give me the energy to get back to exercising properly which will help. I've left it late really as I didn't think it would be anything more than osteo, so it's quite widespread already. Feeling a little more positive now the shock is over!

WCS I'm really sorry to read that :( Is it connected to psoriasis at all? I ask, only the spelling is similar and we were told that arthritis, psoriasis and vitiligo were all linked... My mam and aunties have one of each with myself having a touch of psoriasis and vitiligo I am expecting arthritis too in the future.

How will it effect you with already having to manage one type of arthritis :(

Fuddle - whenever i have squirty cream in the house i make my children banana dogs. spread a slice of bread with either chocolate spread or peanut butter. Peel a banana and lay it down the center of the slice, wrapping the sides of the bread up like a hotdog in a bun. Apply a generous amount of squirty cream along the top of the banana and then add sprinkles, smarties, syrups, whatever takes your fancy!
We are only a little bit addicted to them.
