YAY!!! DH has a job! :j:j:j
At the moment it's the 3 month one, still going for the others just in case. Bit of a day.
A bottle of wine is called for I think. Will have to go and get one.0 -

I'm going to try and set a little time aside each evening to make a to-do list and plan the meal for the next day. I ust get so frustrated with myself sometimes
FUDDLE - My local Asda have stopped doing the Smartprice golden syrup now, i have to go to Tesco for their value one  They don't do Smartprice scotch pancakes anymore either
K xx
Just a word of warning about the to-do list from the queen of lists. Keep it very, very short. There is nothing more dispiriting than having a list that becomes a whip.
I have three lists for this kind of thing... must do or the world will cease to spin and I will fall off.
Will need to do at some time in the future, depending on who is giving me earache.
Well.... it would be nice but ... maybe, whatever.
Menu plan, just look up the specials in your local supermarket and pick 7 things, the rest seems to find itself, don't forget to heave something out of the freezer the night before and bung it in the fridge.
TAKE IT EASY ON YOURSELF !!! There is no replacement for you, you can't pop out and buy another and you have to make you last a long time.0 -

Congratulations Mr Possession - lovely to have some good news for a change!
can I have a wee moan? - i've had a rotton day - found out I have psoriatic arthritis ontop of my osteo-arthritis. Happy to have found out why i'm so shattered as well as sore, but a bit gutted to be honest.0 -
On the subject of having lists, im pretty bad too, I use to use a diary, but believe it or not I forget to check it daily so I missed hospital appointments etc.....:eek:.......
How bad is that?
...So I now still keep the diary going but I put a list of "must do today things " on the kitchen table, cos with a kitchen table you go past it 50 times a day.......
But Im so good at doing our medical prescriptions,mg s,when to take which tab ,injection etc....We are both on high doses of diferent tabs and injections, no probs to me , but routine appointments etc im !!!!! at remembering..........
I think its age and having too much going on, us ladies always multi task..................
Dam fog again today, its been quite mild really, ive been outside to wash all bird feeders, and little bit of clearing up, but didnt need a coat just a nice fleece............
Thats do to change at the weekend I believe, so thermals at the ready.......0 -
Just a quick yay :j:j:j for Mr Possession! Right off to get in bath now while kids are having tea with daddy before coming up to join me for a splash.0

I keep my calendar in the bathroom, next to the mirror. It means I have to hoof upstairs to put anything on it, that stops me putting inane stuff on it.
I have to look at it when I brush my teeth, so does the rest of the Bluebag clan, which helps a lotl.0 -
Congratulations Mr Possession- hes worked so hard for this he really does deserve it.
WCS - ((hugs))
Fuddle - there is a pin on pinterest for making dual coloured icing on cupcakes, make the icing as normal, split into two bowls, add a colouring to each one, then add some icing to an incing bag, add the other colour to a different bag. Put both bags inside a third bag with nozzle attached the ice as normal- looks brilliant
As for lists I am inclined to lose them so I use my phone for everything, my phone is my real extravagance, its a super duper one, all dates go into the calendar, lists can be done that way too, all appointments etc are set into the calendar with a reminder attached for one hour before. WHich means that one hour before I am due somewhere my phone sounds an alarm to remind me.
I also program other reminders in too which means that my phone really does control my life - but it works for me.
Fuddle - I think that B&M or Aldi do a cheaper squirty cream, you can buy some sort of aerosol tool to squirt real cream but by the time you add in the time/cost of buying double cream and whipping it enough it is probably much cheaper to buy the can - if you wash the nozzle carefully each time it usually lasts a while unlike real cream.0 -
