WCS don't worry, you didn't alarm me. Don't you worry about that.

It is unfair. So much unfairness around. Right now I feel the need for a quote for strong women who cope with their lot... I just can't find one :(

I was watching a tv programme about getting people interested in foods that are no longer as popular and it hit me that sometimes it can be aimply the price of something. How much is Rainbow Trout? That was one example.

The other night Nigella did a recipe with pork loin and another with lamb...the size of them:eek:Heaven knows what they cost? But on an income such as she has probably that probably won't mean that much.

I had a portion of chips from the local fish shop with a buttered bun not too long ago...it was a decent size and no rubbish. Cost £1.30 but at least there was no cooking to do...most of my meals are bugeted at a daily cost 50p-£1.50.

I heard that this morning both worrying and scary...they tried to stop it in the House of Lords and failed(many from the three main parties)even someone who once helped set up the original Poll Tax is against it...so wages stay static...incomes reduce/benefits too whilst rents, taxes, food, utility bills, council taxes, water rates, bedroom taxes, housing benefit continue to rise...oh dear:(

I do wonder what will happen next? Experts are expecting a backlash.

I have had in the past I'll watch out for it...thanks...Ok it cost £1 I picked up a bag of watercress. spinach and rocket(should do a few sandwiches or salads...I knew spinach had lots of good vitamins/minerals but discovered watercress is even better...Much as I like Marmite I now buy Tesco's version...cheaper but more for the money...tastes much the same too.

Wish my freezer had more room for the bargains when they happen, it is full which I suppose I should be thankful for I suppose.
