jem123 - just over the border into Craven here would love to put some names to faces. It's a bit mental here at the moment what with getting DD settled into nursery and trying to organise DS's therapies, OU exam on the 15th and the minor (not really!) matter of our wedding on the 2nd Nov but after that I'm game.0 -

For cold remedies I swear by Sloe brandy and hot water or Bene and hot (Benedictine and hot water) - I lived in Pendle for a while! where they drink some 75% of all the bene produced, and I can believe it.

A bit pleased with myself today, been a bit slack OS-wise lately, but today I made lasagne for tea followed by microwave treacle sponge, all from stuff we had, first NSD in ages! A little thing, I know, but this week I'm at that level I'm afraid! :rotfl:

Thanks for passing my message on Byatt, I was just reading your message when I got the call, so it was all I could think to ask you. I'm not sleeping so came here because you guys are my other family and I knew there'd be love.
Thank you for your well wishes and especially thank you for the PMs. I'm not sure how hubby did it last night but I'm literally on the next flight over (it was the last seat apparently too). He's not coming right now (I expect there aren't many families who could find $7000 at an hours notice), I'd rather he didn't fly really given how badly he takes it, though he does want to be there for me.
I might add, that 2012 has been the biggest !!!! of a year we've ever had.
I fly in just a few hours, so I really am off now and will be back mid-end October. Love to all. xxSoftstuff- Officially better than 0070
