Ikea have this prydlig-shopping-bag-on-wheels__0143969_PE303343_S4.JPG in my local store. It's £18 with family card or £25 without. It is a lot smaller than my hoppa though and that was around £20. Still, I thought it was funky ;)

:D Glad to have you back.

But I was thinking, could you possibly go to Paris to track it down? OK, you could pretend you were going to look at Art, although it is worth noting that Banksy snuck a smiley-face Mona Lisa into the Louvre a few years ago.

ETA. love the print on that IKEA trolley!

    Love that ike@ trolley!

Found woodworm beetle in a small pile of wood I hadn't got round to stacking so have managed to burn around half in the chiminea this evening, can't risk bringing it in the house or putting it in with the rest of the stored wood in the garage....annoying but it was free wood so we enjoyed the fire in the chilly evening air.

Finished making my lap quilts earlier, a king sized duvet cut in half with a lump cut off the bottom, gives a nice size for snuggling on the sofa. Have made patchwork slip covers for them so they look pretty (pics will be on blog later but not had time to upload them yet). Have one thrown over me now and its mighty warm :T. The duvet was given to us last year but it was a cheapie and wasn't quite square so was a begger for getting into a cover, this way it still gets used and the offcuts will get used to make another cat bed.

Talking of cats, one of ours has been missing since the weekend, getting very concerned now as he's a real home cat but not a lot we can do but wait. (have dropped notes into around 70 houses in the village)

    D&DD,
I think that you may have a better deal on the limited edition mullers(I might not have saved as much)unless they changed the prices since yesterday. I did save some money, trouble is I spent too much tonight.

About £13...but what I have will last me a few meals...vegetables for casseroles and dinners, also a stir fry. I got some boxes of cup a soups and I was going to buy some Granola after a US friend mentioned it but it was around £3.50 I bought something similar and that had more weight wise and was approx £2 and I can add some of my own fruit as and when...some yellowfin lemon sole...

What took the shopping up in price was that I decided I should have something on afternoons with a cup of tea/coffee so bought some crumpets, scones and teacakes...

And for a change from bread I bought some muffins...

I'm about to have a yogurt - apple, pear and plum crumble(Morrisons)and it won't be ready for ages but in the Slow Cooker I am doing a kind of chicken casserole(Mini Chicken Fillets)Gravy, celery, leek, carrots, broccali, cauliflower and roast potatoes...I'll try not to waste the vegetables and use them up over the next few days...

Sorry about your cat Pooky, I hope that he comes home soon safe and sound...

As I write this Costing the Earth on Radio 4(available as a download/listen on line)is quite depressing, talking about the bad weather and how the food has been affected this year here and in the States and how we can expect prices to go up and some foods to be in short supply but us OS'er's knew that didn't we, that's one of the reasons we're here...

That's some trolley Fuddle, you'll certainly be noticed in a fashonable sort of way...

Good to see you home safe and sound VJ's Mum.

Hope no one is eating...it's those pesky snails and slugs again...

:j:j:j Happy news; Mum's just had her 2 year follow up from her cancer surgery and no sign of it coming back and she's doing really well. Am totally made up. We were all in a very dark place at this time in 2010 and it's such a relief.:j:j

Fuddle, guess what I saw on the way to work? A very cool dood, early thirties and dressed to kill, with a two-wheeled purple trolley with a flower design in the city centre and NO ONE was batting an eyelid. The whole darned world has gone trolley-tastic.

That's fantastic news GQ... enjoy your celebratory dessert.

I was in the outlet village on Monday near us and two women in their 30's with young children had their shopping trolleys with them. I wished then I had taken mine. It's pink with white birds on it from Ikea and dh will happily pull it too, he doesn't seem to care.ikeatrolley1.jpg

I was at a couples house during the week and they had their oil stolen from their tank in the garden. The police said it was the seventh report of stolen oil that week. The people had got a van with the tank and hose and sucked it out!!
