  • Hi everyone, I'm back - I finally caught up. The majority of the time I think I'm doing OS over here by myself. I have stopped talking about it at work as the others were horrified when they heard I bought YS.Some didnt even realise this section existed in T*sco's .Others only buy branded stuff even tho they are the sole earners and have a family to feed! My hubby is firmly onside now - he was telling me about the crop failures a few weeks ago and that we should stock up!!
I felt so OS this weekend. Finally took down the living room curtains and lined them with fleece. Still 1 short so keeping a lookout in Lidl for them to come back on offer. Were abour EUR 7.99 last year. Unfortunately, closest Ikea 186 miles away - roughly lol!

To MeanMarie, Mardatha and PAH I'm in the south west of Ireland.
I used to be by the coast but have moved 23 miles inland to be closer to work/school. I can now walk to work so no more expensive journeys. At one stage was doing 1000 miles very 2.5 weeks which was crazy!!
Hugs to everyone who needs them especially Cake and GQ and everyone else going thru the mill!!

So sorry to hear about your kitty Cake...but glad to hear he has lived a full and very loved life. (((hugs))) for Thursday.

The tooth fairy will be paying still another visit here tonight, but only after some truly terrible dramatics from DD and lots of blood.

So sorry to read sad news cake :(
  • D&DD, thanks but you need to shuffle up a bit more, my bum's bigger than that ;)
Yes. I updated. had my colposcopy today. it hurt a bit and has left me with aches, but consultant said he can't see anything nasty, just maybe a virus that is very common and doesn't normally cause problems. just got to wait for the biopsy results to confirm. I should really go back into work tomorrow, but I've been told no heavy lifting for a couple of days...going to have a sneaky wander round the charity shops instead. shhhhh.

off to bed shortly to snuggle up with DD2, as it's just us at home tonight.

ETA for those of you that are still behind with smear tests...get it booked.
for those of you who have done it despite hating it...well done xxx

:rotfl:ok shuffling...oh thats *fingers crossed* really good news :j:j :T I prescribe copious amounts of cuddles and hot water bottles all round:D

I'm just waiting for some sausages to cook, all this cutting down the cigs malarky is making me starving :o there goes my stockpile
  • ((((Cake))))) give kitty an extra hug from me

Chicken soup went down well and I put 3 large sticks of celery in it. Cannot abide chicken soup without celery so keep celery salt in just in case no fresh. Can only eat celery cooked though not raw.

I am tucked up in bed with box of Kleenexe with Balm beside me ( tempted fate didn't I when I picked up box of three on special last Friday in HomeBargain to put away for winter.

Can anyone tell me why I am lying half off my bed because a certain three dogs have pushed and pushed me to edge while they are stretched right out. Just realised this as have been reading and didn't notice I had moved for them.

A certain male dog has his head on over bed table and staring at me, letting me know he wants some attention so would I leave laptop and rub his tummy so better go.

    Hugs and Love to allxxxx
