It won't let me read it. Who is telling us?0 -
I have often found that sometimes things are best left unsaid, and to just move on.
Lovely sunny but cold day here, time to do some housework!Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures0 -

Oh well, my kids will be thrilled at cheap junk food I expect!Val.0 -

Morning all
shegar I can only echo everyone else and send you and your DH as much positive energy as I can. I hope this new problem is sorted quickly and that he feels better asap ((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))
lisakay The best of luck with giving up smoking, you can do it
Welcome back Softsuff :T
It is so cold here this morning. I think Saturday is going to be spent measuring windows and doors and buying fabric to make curtains and a pole for the front door. I don't want to restrict the amount of light coming in, but think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get some voiles to help with the draughts.
I've finished the book for book group this afternoon and I have two loads of laundry that I will peg out and hope for the best once the machine stops spinning the last load.
I've started knitting the back of my cardi four times now and for some reason I can't get the ribbing right. It's not difficult, but I keep messing up for some reason. I can't decide if I can be a*sed to undo it yet again.
I think I'm going to say sod it and buy some all butter puff pastry and make a chicken pie for dinner. I have leftover roast chicken that needs using up and it is definitely pie weather. I'll get it done before DS1's Parent's Evening at College and can just pop it in the oven when I get back.
Time to make chicken stock I think and maybe a rather large hot chocolate.
Take care everyone xxxxx0 -

It's on financial times. An UN backed report is telling us0 -
I have just made my first batch of garlic ice cubes from reduced garlic at the co-op and am now simmering down tomatoes to treat in the same way, think tomato pur!e.
I have a lovely huge Spanish onion which is now quivering in the veg rack - who knows.C.R.A.P.R.O.L.L.Z Able Archer0 -
I've got a bit of news, an interview on monday for volunteering at a charity shop. My first foray back into civilisation! Scared pantsless currently about it, but keep saying to myself "what's the worst that can happen?".
Possession, you should post what was in your junk box and see if we could turn them into something better, I'm well known here at home as being the dumping point for any foods neighbours or relatives won't eat as I can usually turn them into something more edible!
Lisakay, you can give up smoking. You don't need it, you have the control over whether you do it or not. I'm not saying the urge to smoke vanishes, just that you're the one in the driving seat, not the cigarettes. But then, there's nothing worse than advice from a reformed smoker (smoked 10 years, quit 7 ago)
I keep looking with longing at sites talking about self-build tiny homes, off grid. Nothing like a spot of fantasy, our unit is quite small enough for hubby.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
