Oh my have made the error of taking the iron pills the nurse gave me and oh do I feel ill - no way am I doing that again. I knew I was sensitive to some types which is on my file but assumed (obviously wrongly) that she had checked before prescribing them.

Well they've gone. The Letting agent called an electrican?...who came and did something to slow the leak down, so I guess they will fix it later. DD and BF have taken all their stuff from here and gone, she's being all weird and huffy (cos' I had an opinion :wall: ) and they are going to sleep on the floor. She says she'll come back tomorrow and clean up the B&B room. I've got guests coming Friday, and as I thought they'd be long gone by then, and I'm not in a position to turn down the money, I told them they'd have to organise to go whatever happened. It's a leak, it's not mould making them ill like the other place.

I had an opinion about DD telling the agent to post the key to here on Monday, when I queried if it was being sent next day, she didn't know, cos' she hadn't asked and wouldn't call back....the BF waited in for it Tuesday, because we didn't know and it didn't turn up, so I made her call yesterday and it had been just dropped in 1st class post...fortunately it came at 1.30pm today. But they could have known it was leaking since Monday, and I had the audacity to point that out :rotfl: Neither OH or I would have had a problem with driving for two hours to collect the key, and also bearing in mind what happened with the other flat, I seriously think anyone with any sense at all would have insisted that the landlord/letting agent MET THEM THERE with the key, so that it could all be seen as OK??? Is it just me? Sometimes DD makes me feel like I am just going NUTS? I think I'm really very sensible and not the bolshy troll !!!!! from hell she thinks I am! :eek: I kind of hoped I'd finished with trying to make her grow up when she first went off to uni, but it just seems to go on and on!

OH yeah and while I'm ranting The other DD and I have shifted heaven and earth this week reorganising shifts, so that other DD (who still has student rail card) can go and get my friend in London's dog on Saturday - the one we are rescuing as she can't stay in her house - which is for DD and BF who have just moved out...as BF didn't want to make two trips back to London, as he needs to go and see his mum urgently, and we HAD to take the dog this week. We re-scheduled all our shifts so they could move out this week at a lesiurely pace, and we'd get the dog to them for the weekend so that was why I was annoyed about posting the key! (expenses which I am paying for too...I might add :mad:)

I am packing for Korea (you think you've all got problems - I've just found out that the national dish is fermented vegetables or chitterling sausages with slices of boiled lung _pale_ and the language is uninterpretable so I could order anything :eek:!!). OH is back and he can deal with the DD situation for a few days. She seems more resigned to it, if not actually happier. There could be a lot riding on the trip in terms of generating some work for my school (in a university) as we have been severely hit by the fee rise and the fact that even the big boys (Russell group uni's) had to go to clearing. THere just don't seem to be enough students to go round this year so we are all having to look overseas to sell our courses. So - no pressure

Tea tonight was some chicken breast chucked in a jar of curry sauce. Not very OS, not all that healthy but it had to do - and it was quite nice.

OH brought me back some wine infused chocolate. But actually I'd rather have them separately! Ungrateful mare, I am.:o

To be on the safe side I think you should just learn the Korean for I AM VEGAN BUDDHIST MONK and possibly wear orange...you should be ok then.... YUK Boiled lung....Shudder.

I remember OH ordering a sausage called andoulette in France, and it arrived all tightly swollen skin, bit like a long haggis, and when he cut into it, it exploded chopped bits of tubes and organ meat all over his plate like that bit in alien. I've never felt the same way about French food since....:(
