She said birth certificate/marriage certificate, driving licence, passport (don't have one) and recent utility bill with my address on. Does that sound right spiky?
Yes, but the company we do ours through at work can ask for 6 proofs of id, so if you take birth & marriage certs, driving license, plus 3 things like bills/bank statements/tv license, you'll be covered. WFTC letters are fine too, or CB letters.
The trick is the letters/bills should all be from within the last 6 months...
& CRB checks are why I won't go paperless for all bills!0 -
Bother spiky, paperless is the exact reason why I won't be able to find more bills. It took all my time to find my water board statement last night. All the rest are paperless. All I can do is take screen shots of my bills online and email them to myself to access at school just in case.
I'll keep you posted GQ, you know me, don't worry about that:rotfl:

Fuddle Good Luck
Yesterday while the OH was in the loft seeing what was up there and tidying it up.
I cooked a pork joint that was YSdown to 4.35 ,we had some for tea and the rest was sliced and put in the freezer we got 7 meals out of it for both of us.Also 6 pieces of fish for 3.20, and 2 chickens 2.10 each.So for 10 pounds we got alot of meals. Really pleased with that.
The OH is going to go to Mr S for me on friday as we dont have one near us. We have to take two buses and as he has a free bus pass he said he will go with his back pack and get us some of there teabags to put in our food storeage cupboard.

Thanks for advice I'll be looking into freezer seals. Did't know you could replace them yourself:D
Fuddle
Fingers crossed for you today.
Off to see speech therapist today, as I keep losing my voice. Gobowen is a nice old fashioned hospital, a bit of a time warp. They have just build a wonderful modern parking area and 21st century entrance hall, but once you get through that you're into the Time Warp again! Staff are really wonderful though:A
While I am out I will call in at Stans our local independent SM, which always has some interesting bargains. Hoping for some bedding plants to cheer up the patio pots.

Morning All,
Hope everything work out Fuddle. I have woke and my first thought are about what to do about staying put/moving/finances but I am still not going to rush into things even if I decide to look into things. i still have roughly 8 months and I may get Christmas out of the way.
I hope it is nothing more serious but having kidney problems...you never know...the symptoms I have gone down with suggest I have...gout!
Big toe on my left foot is really hurting.
I was going to wait and see if it went away but I contacted the Dr's surgery about 5 minutes ago and they have got me appointment for 11.55am. So they must think it should not be neglected...there's always something..."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

Thinking of you and wishing you well...funny we both should post about seeing a Dr etc...at the same time...
A Radio 4 announcer recently lost his voice for no real reason initially and they sorted him out and he almost sounds as good as new but needed some retraining...hope you get good news."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson

RANT ALERT!!
After SEVEN weeks of waiting for my JSA decision I phoned them again this morning and they phoned me back. They don't know where my letter asking for a reconsideration of their decision is, and can I fax through a copy next Friday when I go to sign on? They wanted to know what I put on my original claim. Erm, I can't remember as it was THREE months ago! Useless is an understatement. The woman on the phone said they had thousands of pieces of post to get through and she was going to have to try and find my letter to pass it on to the decision makers directly but it would be better if I could fax my letter through again.
I am off to find a brick wall to bang my head against.

Sorry Smiley that must be SO frustrating. What would happen if you had no money for food in that time?!
Trying to think of some savoury things I can bake for packed lunches. Might have to dig up some old threads on here.0
