Would running away from home be a viable option? You, not them, I mean?
When I was a stroppy teenager and would threaten to leg it, Mum would offer to pack my bag and Dad said he'd come with me. Really deflates those drama-queen moments.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

:rotfl: so funny, I have that to come  Take solace from the fact you'll have peace and quiet while I have to endure it.
I'm being inspired to bloomin' be great as a human being with the paralympics stories and opening ceremony. Dr Steven Hawking is awe inspiring0 -
It really is irrelevant that maths has no point. One has to do maths. Fact
Or factor
Highest Common Factor
And do people really add 2/9 to 23/30? In real life? Really
Pourquoi, as they say in French. And "Qu'est ce que le point?"
Unfortunately he hasn't offered to run away. I suppose I could, but don't think they'd notice till dinner time!
Got it too cushy here.
And getting stroppy about the maths doesn't get the maths done.
This isn't at all OS or MSE but needed a vent.

all gobledegook to my brain. It doesn't take much.
The bread is all done and looks good. I have not tasted it or cut into it yet but looks promising enough to share.
For a small (not teenager) family sized loaf - 5 min bread quantities for people who use mls and grams. I can't do oz and fl oz conversions though
350 ml warm water
1 tsp yeast
1 tsp salt
390g white strong bread flour.
mix in, leave on bench for couple of hours, put in fridge over night, carefully get out in morning/afternoon (last 2 weeks in fridge) and gently mould into loaf shape of your choice. Cook for around 30 mins.

My parents sold their house and moved to a static park home, it's an over 50s site so lovely and quiet. They're fab inside, well theirs is as Dad has redone everything. They've got friends all over the site and are always popping in and out to have tea and cakes, craft sessions etc. they love the life style.
VJs - my teenagers are both ignoring each other after fighting over who washed and who dried after dinner this evening. I ended up losing my temper, stamping my feet and telling them go away until they could be nice to each other and me. They've apologised to me but not each other
Dresser is nearly built, I've been having a sciatica attack today so haven't got as far as I'd hoped but will get up early and get it finished, it's looking lovely. Will post some pics on my blog when it's done."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
