    here you go Fuddle:

SDG I think I subscribe to both theories since I think my children have both black hole tummies and hollow legs. Potato bake was popular but even so watching Bake Off made them hungry straight after they had eaten. Mind you, made me pretty hungry too.
GQ - if the trolley is a cow I might change my mind to Frederica (incidentally the name of my first car, a red mini).

Fuddle - hope your holiday is going well

there is a dough scraper in amazon

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plain-Plastic-Scraper-Flexible-blade/dp/B00237UYDG/ref=pd_bxgy_kh_text_b

I think I will invest in one at that price. :)

Have spoken to Oh about the idea of price rises and he didnt quibble, I was expecting resistance but he seems to think I am right. As he works in food industry I assume he has picked up a "vibe" without realising it. He is going back into work Thurs and is going to look at prices in staff shop to see if they can undercut ald! for pasta etc.

Would love a trolley but with Ds8 I imagine he would attach a motor and have me dragged down the street or some other disaster :)

Have had a lovely day on safari, marred only by my back flaring up, its agony to move and even taking painkillers hasnt touched the pain at all. Am considering going to GP tomorrow and begging for stronger pain meds, something I swore I would never do, but am so debilitated today I dont think I could manage another day like this.

I am inclined to name stuff too, my kids laugh when I introduce them to new things, I never name in advance though it just sort of comes to me when I "meet" them.:D

I think there are some on ebay Smiley, I bought a wardrobe and got a quote from someone on there - put 'man and van' into the search box. :)

Well, I have to sort something out as I'm the winning bidder! I got them for £80. They're ikea ones so they would cost over £200 new plus Ikea charge £35 for delivery. So even if man and van costs £50 I've still got a good deal. It will mean I can transfer stuff from other bits of storage and get rid of some old furniture that takes up more room than it's worth. And yes, one is destined to be my store cupboard lol!

Mrs Lurcherwalker, there's a subtle difference between being a grown woman and a grown-up woman so don't worry, I wasn't insulting us all by calling us grown-ups :rotfl:. By the way, Bruno says thank you to Doc for his get well wishes. He is better now and has enough energy again to chase those pesky squirrels ....

Craigywv your post made me laugh but you do realise you sound as mad as a box of frogs, don't you? :rotfl:

ETA - the bookcases have glass doors on them so that will mean much less dust and dog hair to contend with on my stocks, oh yes!!

GQ - I like Mrs L's Twiggy (plus reasoning), if you go with the giraffey theme may I suggest my 3 year old DD's version - d'jaff which she shouts loudly, often in church! (we take her South Lakes Wild Animal Park guide book for when she gets bored!) If you decide to go down the cowy route then aren't all traditional cows called things like Buttercup and Bluebell?

I name things too but not necessarily proper names for instance the double buggy is called The Tank! Cars must have alliterative names from the country of origin of the car so we are currently driving Leon the Laguna. I have also had an Eric the Escort, and Ernie the Escort, Hiro the Honda and Pasqual the Pergeot! They are also all male as they are one track (ie A - B) and expensive when they go wrong!

The computer problem was down to the macafee glitch with older computersbut OH has had a play with it and although I can't get onto Chrome at the moment at least he's got me internet explorer back so I can keep up with you lot!

:rotfl::rotfl: 'in skin'... love it. I've been chased by enough cows to know the difference :rotfl:

Craig, thanks for the heads up on the sweetcorn, I can eat it from the tin! I am going to practice throwing the lids like a frisbee! :D
My pooch hates having her nails clipped too and our previous dog used to howl as if we were killing her.
    Love your posts. ;):)
