what is Economy 7...is that a tariff or a setting??
They are electric panel heaters not storage heaters. Not had them on yet and hoping not to have to very much...the flat gets really hot, had the balcony doors open all evening the last few nights so hopefully bills will remain low!!
Looking forward to knowing how everything works tomorrow!!
I have just popped out to the post office and paid to return the parcel....£11.25 it cost me....:eek::eek:
So i am deducting that money from the £30 refund and not taking it from weekly spends!!
Also I had ran out frozen lunches that I had batch cooked so had to buy lunch today.
Looking forward to firing up the laptop tonight or tomorrow and having a proper work out of what I have across various accounts, what is still to go out of current accounts and what I will be able to put into the savings this month. I have already put £70 in and not sure how much else I will be able to squeeze out this month.
There have been a lot of one off expenses, house phone, extension cables, installation charges etc etc... looking forward to getting into a routine and money/direct debits to settle down!! Getting lots of lunches put in the freezer so i can start leaving my purse at home!2019 Totals: Savings: £929.53 / Mortgage OP - £746.32

Wooohoooo its friday!!:j:j:j:beer::beer::beer:
another busy day at work today, really want to leave on time and go to the gym (not been for about two weeks due to the move and always trying to get something sorted after work) but that is looking less and less likely!
Virg!n was all installed fine, didnt get too much chance to play with it as my sister and mom came round for tea...def a job for the weekend!
In fact I have a serious list of jobs for the weekend...will list them out later as it does help to keep me focused!
Would like to try to have a busy day tomorrow so I can then have a more relaxed saturday evening and sunday day (got some relies coming round to see the flat in the afternoon).
If i spend anything today it will be a couple of £ at aldi...if that, could just do with some salad or cottage cheese type side to go with dinner....whoopsied swordfish and jacket pot's. Might try to get bf to pop over to aldi though to save my money and use his instead!!
anyway..best crack on with the day, hopefully will pop on later!!

Just enjoying finally having Internet here at the flat!!
Lots of Internet banking planned for this evening and spreadsheets...when did I get so wild
:D
You no I mock...but I wouldn't have it any other way...my days of partying every weekend are well and truly behind me!!
A few glasses of wine as it is Friday and it has been a bit of a hellish week at work!
Off to my second home in the morning (ikea) for curtains and hopefully nothing else!!
Spending diary has gone a bit haywire this week...again! Didn't draw it all out in cash as I normally would, and so was mentally owing and borrowing between the spending amount and curtains etc budget!
I will sort all out tomorrow or later but will most likely just lump the two pots together!
Hope all are well on this Friday evening....going to catch up on some diaries shortly!xx2019 Totals: Savings: £929.53 / Mortgage OP - £746.32

Sounds like things are really coming together at the flat!! I'm sure you will soon have all those niggly final little bits you need to buy out the way :TLots of Internet banking planned for this evening and spreadsheets...when did I get so wild

Not sure how old you are LW (i am hitting the big three ohhhh next month :eek::eek:) , but i fear i am of the same boat these days! :rotfl:....I literally have to psych myself up to go 'out out' with the girls these days
(whom i love going out with
, just cannot take hangovers or feet hurting the next day!
).....i would 110% much rather go out for a nice meal or stay in and tinker with my 's/sheets' .....Sad indeed i suspect (the s/sheet part anyway) but i would never ever admit that to anyone outside of DB, partents & MSE :rotfl:
Hope you are enjoying the wk end

Janie I am 26, 27 next month....i no what you mean about psyching yourself up for a night out...i have to do that, and then regret it for the rest of the week!! Def a bit old before my time i think!!!
I do love it when I am out, its just the thought of it give that 'deep sigh' feeling!!!
Things are defanitly coming together in the flat, the curtians have been bought, turned up and hung at the weekend, also most of the pictures have been hung up so it now really is starting to look like home!
Not too much left to do, I want to order a big canvas print for a bigf 17ft walls, the one i have seen that both me and bf like is best part of £100, which i dont think is too bad, but want to see how I get on with not spending much on holiday first.
I go on holiday on Wednesday evening, so I have got to pop to Asda at some point (prob tonight) to get a few bits & pieces, face-wipes, suntan oil etc. Havent really bought anything else for the hol, we went away for a quick week in may so had a few new bits then...but for a week lying in the sun - past swim stuff and a few nice things for the night, there is not much else needed!!
Waiting for two refunds to appear back on debit card account - £22 at Ikea and £20 at b&q....praying that the hotel has wifi so I can keep an eye on my bank acc's whilst away...having spent the last week switching all my direct debits, I now have the fear that its going to get messed up and come out of the wrong account!!
I will just try to ensure enough money is left in all accounts for anything that might possibly be taken!
Anyway, hope all enjoyed the weekend....lovely weather!!

I'm turned 26 last month, but i was def old before my time, i have 3 kids my oldest 2 are coming 6, and i was married 6 years last month aswell, i was a real party girl til i met my hubby he wasn't and i relied i much prefered curling up and watching something with him than going out anyway.Problem is we said no to people that much they've stopped inviting us places.
Most hotels have wi-fi now so i'm sure you'll be ok.DEC GC £463.67/£450

hehe to behonest whilst i think it will be a nice break...i could also do with just being at home and if i wasnt going away then I would of been able to do all the moving etc in the week rather than the weekends..but hey ho i cant complain!
We booked all inclusive so the only money I will take is my weekly £100, that should be more than enough...would like to come back with most of it to be honest!!
i think i am worse in winter for wanting to stay in and not go out..its just too cold....good lord I sound like my nan!!!2019 Totals: Savings: £929.53 / Mortgage OP - £746.32
