Thanks all!!
We got all the heavy stuff in last night and the bf went after work and built the bed....looks lovely and sooo comfy!!!
Sofas are about to be delivered so all is on track apart from Virgin who have royally messed up. Installation booked for tomorrow (this is after the first installation date of today mysteriously got cancelled off there system and changed to last week when i didnt even own the flat, and i have the text confirming today) and they have now said someone has put the order on permanant hold and then it will be a further two weeks when that is lifted that installation can take place.:mad::mad:
So that would mean no tv and no internet for near on three weeks.
It has been escalated at the moment and should have an answer by lunchtime as to what they are going to do...hopefully it can be speeded up.
And apart from that all is well. Little costs are mounting up, £20 for a few extra sets of keys to be cut, £20 for a load of plasterboard plugs, etc etc....
Bought kfc for sister, best mate and mom last night to thank them for helping me move all the heavy stuff in....who says we need men!!!
So that was best part of £22....will update spending diary in a min but that is pretty much the weeks allowance gone :eek:
So hopefully the rest of the week will be NSD's or alternatively I will just have to draw some money from another account to cover the insurance that I paid early.
0% credit card has been applied for and accepted with Tesco, will be putting car insurance on it next month and paying off over the year and will also put fuel on it and pay off as soon as i spend on it to maximise clubcard points.:D
Santander 123 acc is up and running on my online banking but still not received any postal info about it and still also waiting to hear from Halifax regarding there reward account...ac you have probably guessed so far, patience is not my strong point so waiting for everything to get set up so I can get organised is doing my head in!!!!2019 Totals: Savings: £929.53 / Mortgage OP - £746.32

Hi all, thanks for the well wishes!! I am moved in
:D!!
I am so happy with it, I am in work now and I know it sounds sad but I miss the flat..cant wait to get back there tonight!!!
The weekend has been a bit of a whirlwind!!
Saturday after moving in in the morning, we went and did the 'big shop' that my Mom was paying for as my moving in present. That has stocked me up on all tinned goods, meat, cleaning products etc etc.
I didn't go too mad, but the food shop next weekend should only be a small one. There are a few bits that I need to get this week as they did not have in stock or is cheaper in Aldi which is within walking distance of me.
Money wise, I did have to supplement the weekly money which was a reduced amount this week....not been very good at keeping track this weekend, things like extension cables, tv ariels etc, but I took an additional £20 out of my account at the weekend (making the weekly spends £90), still got about £10 left so that will do for the top up shop when i pop to Aldi.
I had £70 paid to me by a friend who owed it me so that went straight in the savings hence the updated amount in my signature. Then i should have around £160ish leftover this month to put in savings, however I may end up spending it this month as there are still things that I need for the flat that I haven't budgeted on.
I go away a week on Wednesday (bad timing i know!!) for a holiday, that is all inclusive (paid for in Jan) so will just take my weekly £100 for any bits and pieces, hopefully bring most of it back with me! Then it is my birthday in October, could hold out on some bits for the flat until then and use birthday money for it, but we will see!!! Not going to go mad....its mainly just some curtians for the lounge (2 sets) and a big long picture for the lounge wall. Have quite specific taste though!!:D
Spending diary for next financial week (wed - tue) may have to start tomorrow - day early, petrol is seriously low so will need to fill up on the way home. Might put £40 in which should do me till I go on holiday, shorter distance to work from the flat, but still a few running around journeys to collect stuff that is still at my moms!
Anyway enough rambling...that prob doesn't make too much sense...just need to get it written down!!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!!xx2019 Totals: Savings: £929.53 / Mortgage OP - £746.32

Glad the weekend went well for you.
There are always extra bits and pieces to get that you just don't think about.
Having Herr A nearby (and within walking distance) will be a bonus - remember if you walk there, you can't buy too much because of carrying it back!
