    beautiful!
I went in hobbycraft today and they were selling button holes and corsages for 99p! I was thinking of buying some and personalising them.
But i must say that is beautiful and very well done!

    Thanks JayJay

Good tip about hobbycraft - was that a sale offer that was on? Might be able to pick up a few myself and as you say, personalise them.

I love that shop - I can wander round it for aaaages :rotfl:

    Here are my flowers :D

Our colour scheme is Ivory, Silver and Petrol/Turquoise.
Having found it hard to find real flowers we really liked, we decided to go for foam roses.
All the things i used were from Hobbycraft, my new favourite shop lol...
They arent quite finished, need to finish the stems on them, but im really pleased with them, and my family love them :D

Inspired by this thread, I created my own bouquet, buttonholes for attendants and also my bridesmaid posy for my civil ceremony at a local museum and art gallery. As I had never made anything like this before, I wanted to keep it simple so stuck to a simple pallet of colours.

I thought I might share the results with you.

I ordered the large cream roses and greenery used in my bouquet from Marks and Spencers (delivered the day before) and then bought slimmer roses for the buttonholes and bridesmaid posy from Tesco (cost less than £5). The bouquet were made on the morning of the ceremony (my ceremony wasn't until 4pm). I made the buttonholes the day before.

I also used bay from my tree in the garden and some ivy which a friend kindly donated, to decorate the bannister in my house. I used cream silk garlands to add colour to these.

    Thanks Tiger.

If you are using fresh, my advice would be not to scrimp on the actual quality of them. My roses for my bouquet weren't cheap but there was sufficient left from making the bouquet for me to add some to the tables for the reception, so they stretched quite a way. I think I spent no more than £40 in total for all the flowers, florist tape, fake asparagus fern, ribbon, oasis and wire and we made 10 table decorations as well as those listed.

I actually easily ebayed the silk arrangements after the wedding day and got my money back for those too.
