It is spam because it is you who the course belongs to. You can reccommend a service you have used but not if it is self promotion!

A course is great but as we are moneysaving we are looking for ways to do it cheaply imo a course isn't cheap and you might aswell go and get your flowers from a florist!

Just a little tip, I am not getting married until august 2010, so this August I am keeping my eye out in florists and on the internet to see what is in season as obviously this will keep the costs down and be greener too, which is important to me.
I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o

We take you to meet our suppliers and help you buy the flowers for cost price. This way you're paying exactly what your local florist would pay for the flowers, instead of what they would charge you as a customer. We also show you how to arrange them properly so your wedding flowers look good on the final day :) and so you're confident presenting and arranging them. If you went straight to your local florist they would charge you more and you would still be a bit unsure about how to make a nice table arrangement or how to ensure your buttonhole doesn't continually fall off.

The main point is that it is a much more cost effective way than asking a florist directly to decorate your wedding, therefore it's a moneysaving method.

If you disagree I truly apologise for this. I was only trying to help because I know we've helped lots of people in the past.
  • Well I am confident with my flowers. I bought them from Dunelm yesterday and they are already arranged in a bouquet for the bargain price of £4.99. They are ivory roses and everyone has said how real they look! I have added a crystal pin to the middle of each rose which were 15p each and tied some burgundy satin ribbon round the stems secured with two diamante pins. They are stunning. I will upload a pic soon to my wedding thread for whoever is interested to see.

Calico, if you read the site rules there is to be no self promotion, therefore it is spam, whether or not you are helping someone. If someone else reccommended your course then it would be ok. Everyone else has to stick to the rules. Post reported!

Thanks Tigerlilley, they looked so fab I have bought three cream bouquets for my bmaids, going to bling them up with diff ribbon and crystal pins. Bargainous! ALso bought my centrepieces - candelabras for half the tables, and tall vase with crystal stem and single rose for the other half. £95 for 3 bouquets and 8 tables!

    Thanks for the tip off!

  • I'm definitely going to give making my own flowers a go, will probably try one bouquet before I decide to make them all so that I can see if I can manage it - afterall if it doesn't get used it can go in a vase in the house anyway ;)
