I've been seriously thinking about switching to Sky's 'all-in' package (£26 per month) purely as a moneysaving mechanism as I have no problems with my current, separate services (£47 per month in total). However, despite the encouraging stories, there are too many horror ones for me to take the plunge just yet.
Guess I'll have to watch this space a while longer........
I ordered Sky TV and Sky Broadband the other week there and everything was processed fast and professionally. Got confirmation letters sent within two dates confirming Sky install date and have been told that Broadband will go live on 28 March 2007 once BT provisions the line.
Excellent service so far, cannot fault them0 -
Matrix, now you've got me wavering again!
Glad to hear your good news though. The 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025. Member #420 -

matrix999, hope it goes smoothly for you as it did for me - I was connected two days earlier than expected on £26 package which I ordered online. I have been connected since 10th March and have had no problems whatsoever - plugged router in and I was away.
poorbabe, I was nervous aswell but went for it after a long think (about 3 months!) and have no regrets.0 -

Hi TOBRUK!
Good to hear everything went well! I'll keep you posted with how I get on.0 -
I can't understand how Sky can get away with this. I've paid my first bill and I still can't logon and can't get an email address. Is it legal for them to charge me for something I can't use0

Phone customer services and explain this... I'm sure they will give you a refund if there is an existing problem with your broadband service.0 -
Thanks Kevin. I've phoned customer services (I use the term loosely) and several other people besides and I've written a Recorded Delivery letter all to no avail. I think maybe Rupert needs the money more than me!!0
