I need my internet very reliably without a break. I want to save money but am fearful that the switch may cause problems.
Tony
I've just signed up to talk talk broad band today, so I would be interested in the answer to tony's question.
Thanks,

Smiler,
As far as I can see you are eligible look here, there is a link for existing landline customers at the bottom right of the page. You'll need to be quick though, the offer closes today.

Many thanks for this.I've signed up tonight.
At the moment I'm on the admitantly reliable demon 512kb package, but it's costing £24.99 a month.
After speaking with them, they said there was no way they could reduce the price or up the speed,so I requested a MAC number and will be transfering.
For 1 MB at £10 cheaper a month I don't mind if the service is slightly less reliable.
One question for the tecchies,as we have to sign up for talk talk's phone package as part of the deal, will we be able to still use independant operators like 1899 to route our phone calls?0 -

Yes, if you read the Telephone Home phones board you will find that most MSE'rs are using either TalkTalk or Onetel with 1899 and/or 18866.0 -
Package has increased to £24.99 today,so heads up to the OP for alerting us yesterday.0

Ordered this last Thursday - it arrived today! The only concern I have is that in the accompanying letter there is no mention of the 14.99 price deal that I selected online, the monthly charge states:
Broadband + TalkTalk landline (Talk 1) 1mbps £24.99
In case of any problems, anyone got a screengrab of the deal they were doing?...the north will rise again...0
