Took advantage of this offer earlier in the week, also includes free calls to the Republic of Ireland if you live in Northern Ireland, so I was well chuffed. About time us Northern Ireland residents benefitted from something!!0

Looks like a good offer, thanks. Any idea whether their service has been better? there's a lot of previous posts about teething problems while they were getting without ample cacapcity.0

Don't forget you can maximise your savings and also earn cashback if you sign up for this TalkTalk deal through one of the Cashback sites ***link edited out by Board Guide (see Martin's post at top of Grabbit board for the links to price comparison sites) ***
Well worth the extra 2 minutes of your time if you're interested in this deal.0 -

I have read all terms and conditions, read below to explain about the download limit, and NO CAP! Sounds sll good to me
* We don't apply formal caps or limits to the amount of data you transfer with TalkTalk Broadband, however we may restrict excessive use by, for example, prioritising traffic to light users during peak periods.0 -

I must admit to being tempted by this offer, but checking out http://www.ispreview.co.uk/index.shtml shows a lot of concerns about the level of service provided.

Has anyone switched recently to a new broadband provider? How long does it take and were you offline at all?
I need my internet very reliably without a break. I want to save money but am fearful that the switch may cause problems.
In the meantime I have just phoned Pipex (my provider) and requested a FREE upgrade (they wanted to charge me!) They agreed to upgrade me to 1Mb for free. Am still on £19.99+VAT for 1Mb, which seems a bit expensive.
