I prefer Mr T's value ketchup to Heinz - its 43p a bottle whereas the same size from Heinz is £2.18!

I have been pouring the value ketchup into a Heinz squeezy bottle though because when I first bought it DH wouldnt put it on his chips.

Now however, he thinks he is having Heinz and cant tell the difference lol :D

I invited my 95 year old great Gran round for Sunday lunch and it is a must that you make your own gravy and also stuffing, nothing else will do...

I made the gravy with TESCO VALUE granules using the stock from the meat and the water from the veg and she said it was delicious and keeps saying to my mum about the gravy i made!!

The stuffing was fresh out of a TESCO VALUE packet and Gran told me it was really nice, all good until sheasked me how I made it, a quick thought then the reply was... umm, well, Gran, I found a recipe on the internet!! AND... Got away with it!

    ALSO!!

TESCO Chocolate is really good as well, mmm Chocolate and Hmmmm Might have a roast tonight now!!:p

I was v. interested when I saw Recovering Spendaholics post yesterday which said - "sainsburys value beans came out top in a Daily Mail taste test".
Heinz are so expensive so I'm going to try the Sainsbury ones.

Not strictly value, but on the lidl website you can see which of their items have won awards.

    Hi samcat,

As Penny has already said you'll find lots of opinions on the Old Style value thread but it may also be useful to read Martin's article on What's hot and what's not at aldi/lidl/netto where there are many opinions on different products.

To find specific foods which have won official taste tests check out google where there are lots of links.
