EF- £110/COLOR]/£10000 -
tesco value cottage cheese is really really good and i also think the value malt loaf is excellent aswell.:j:j:j0

I prefer own brand to value stuff. One thing I do like, and buy though is Tescos value custard creams.:j0

I personally buy loads of value stuff (I work for Tesco too!)
I buy the following
Veggies/Fruit (tho sometimes offers are on the regular)
Butter
Natural Yoghurt
Tortilla
Peanuts
Flour
Lemon Curd
Honey
Vodka (for pressie making)
Red Wine (got loads atm for Spiced Wine!)
scouring pads
bleach
toilet cleaner
cistern blocks
frozen veggies
Frozen fish (not for us, for the mutts and mogs!)
Tinned Tuna (ditto)
tbh, the only things I dont buy value are meat/cheese and eggs0 -

My hair is very long too and I've been using Alberto Balsam shampoo and conditioner on it for at least 3 years - unusual for me as used to have to change brands every few months as product build up made my hair look awful, but this stuff is brilliant. It's £1 a bottle max in most big supermarkets, often on offer (regularly get 4 for £3 at Asda), also available cheaper in poundshops, Home Bargains etc. My friend's hairdresser even recommended it instead of more expensive brands as apparently it's better for your hair because the ingredients are simpler - I only started using it coz it's cheap but would definitely agree! Oh and the tea tree conditioner is fab for shaving your legs, I never get nicks or ingrown hairs and it's much cheaper and works better than shaving gel/foam.Pax Et Bonum0 -

One to avoid - Tesco value *rice crispies*; even the hens wouldn't eat them.
Penny. x
Yet my son LOVES these over normal rice crispies....!
When I asked why, he told me that it's because they don't go soggy!
PS. for anyone who hasn't tried them... they are solid!!We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
We love Mr T Value jaffas and most of their sweet stuff, but the Tuna is not good. Value Snowball cakes are very much loved by the nieces and nephews this time of ear. This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

Their tuna flakes are horrid.
Tuna chunks are okay.
Sainsbury's Basic Tuna is LOVELY! I fail to find a basic product I don't like in Sainsbury's.
But has anyone tried Tesco's 'Bargain' ranges? the Mermaid tuna is nice, and cheaper then the rest!
they also have Oak Lane is the range (Love the beans and ketchup, the biscuits are nice) and they have Trattoria for italian type foods, such as tomatoes, pasta etc.
The prices vary, but I find many are the same as value, or if they cost more they are worth the extra money!!!We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like.
