Im sooo dissapointed - my son has his bday party that day and I really wanted to go as my children really need some new bits :(

If you can get to one of the clearance outlets, they are moving sale stock to back of store rather than ending sale....it'll just get smaller as stock decreases. And there were more items coming out of store room onto shop floor today and that's likely to continue, so you may not have missed out on bargains. There were items on shop floor today that weren't there when the sale started yesterday.

A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work

I prefer to buy the clothing online so that they haven't been attacked with the sale tickets and have holes in. Mainly get shoes and home stuff from instore. A little lesson I've learned over the years :D

You are not safe from getting stuff with holes in it buying online! I have had numerous items with holes in that I have bought online from Next :( (and subsequently sent back!)

Wow, I never knew that. Everything I've bought in the last 3years online sales have been perfect, no sales tags on, just the price ticket on the inside label :)
  • I've had items in the past that I ordered online & they had obviously been picked over, including a coat with stains on it. With shoes I always check the packaging, if theyre wrapped in tissue & it looks like its been stuck back together again they could have been returned but they might be a faulty return.

I have had quite a few items with tag holes on them, I took an outfit back to the store last year cos it had a big hole in it, I showed it to them in store.
I was really pleased to catch the same outfit on the sale page a few days later - guess what, same outfit same hole! :rotfl:
Next must lose a lot of money sending defective items out to people only to have these returned! Maybe they figure that eventually either someone won't notice, or won't care!
I don't think much of their quality control!

Same here! They often update during the day just after a sale. Keep an eye on the site this morning!

Well i did manage to get up this morning at 3 and they seemed to update about 3:30am. I'm quite pleased as i got 2 packs of pyjamas (which i was gonna pay full price for) and 2 pairs of trousers for my little one. I'm kinda regretting it now though as my little one was up at 6:30am. Remind me to never do that again!

I have had some real horrors including a shirt that smelt strongly of body odour, a stained tankini and trainers that were obviously worn.
I had one of my orders delivered on saturday, amongst this order was a broken mirror and an open pack of pants with 1 pair missing, i either have very bad luck or quality control has gone rapidly downhill.
