Just got up at 3am to see the sale updates and it says sale closed until 6am! Typical!!!!

Just been on for a quick look and it's now letting you get sale stuff delivered to store for free as usual so great for picking up the odd item that comes back in.

The Next sale seems to be much more relaxed these days. i remember I went to 5am start a few years ago and vowed never again.

I was pushed, shoved into rails of clothes, had middle aged women scream at me because I had taken something they wanted - it was horrendous! I ended up leaving with only a thing fews because I just couldn't be bothered.

It sounds much better now, still don't think I will do it again though, not as long as I keep getting the VIP slots anyway!

I had a 6pm weds slot and ordered a few bits for all 4 of us.

Then my neighbour bespgged me to walk down to the retail park at 7am on sat with her.

So I get up and dressed, leave the kids and dp asleep. Wake neighbour up who was sleeping and she told me she couldn't be bothered to go. She could of told me before I got up at 6:30am on a weekend!!!

So I went down their myself with the promise of a costa coffee
Got a lot more for dd2 who needed more t shirts as she insists on growing all the time (she's 15 months)

Later in the day we all went to bluewater and I got a new lamp, desperately needed after dd2 knocked the last one on the floor!!

Quite a few bits have to go back due to holes in them, which is a shame.

Got my first lot of online stuff delivered yesterday and will get the rest this week



Why do people go mad grabbing everything because it's cheap?
I go in there knowing what the kids need (dd1 has enough summer stuff so picked her up a couple of jumpers and wellies for the winter) dd2 needed t shirts and I bought her some pjs and a jumper in the next size up. Work shirts for dp and jumpers for the winter for me. Oh and a dressing gown for dd1 too.

eBay is going to be rife with it all.




What do next do with all the returns made due to holes?

They don't do a morning update on Sundays.

I prefer to buy the clothing online so that they haven't been attacked with the sale tickets and have holes in. Mainly get shoes and home stuff from instore. A little lesson I've learned over the years

I went on to the website this year as got the VIP slot on Wednesday at 6pm. There was only one thing I wanted which wasn;t in the sale so had a very cheap year. I actually now prefer full price for something I want for myself or my boys. I find I spend less as no impulse purchases. Miss out all the stress of taking everything that doesn't fit back and don't have to queue in the shops for hrs

There was an update at 2.30pm but alot of it was removed shortly after. And most of which was not in stock, it was predicted to be delivered in 6 weeks, I think the update is usually around 4pm so will keep my eyes peeled.
