Went to the Telford 'Home' store this afternoon. Bought 2 pairs of HUGE curtains for my new house. No queue, plenty of stock although the carpark was heaving. The branch in the shopping centre had no queue either but didn't venture inside.

Don't want to pay delivery charge for the couple of items I want - can I have them delivered to local store for free pick up?

They tend not to do store pick up at the start of the sales.

I have the same thought, probably you can try phone them and make the order over the phone, as they blocked the option of delivery in the check-out page, there is just a delivery to your address there.

Alternatively if someone has a free delivery code and would like to share with us :-)

just going through my receipts for this morning and i was charged full price for 2 things that definitely have sale labels on them! So looks like i'll have to go back to the store!

I was the same, overcharged by 50p for several items and charged full price for a top! It's half an hour to my nearest store though so but of a pain!

as I was awake anyway I went up to my local at 6.15am this morning, its on a big retail park and there were less cars than usual, often at 6am there is still a small queue as they let one in for every 1 out etc, but this morning it seemed so quiet! walked around the store about 3 times and had good look at everything, and was probably 30 people in the whole store, several tills with no queue at all, and the staff said it was a shorter queue than normal outside at 5am as well. I wonder if its due to the fact they gave much longer VIP online slots (used to be an hour didnt it? slots seems to last til 23.59 at all times now) and people being offered a 2nd VIP slot after theyve used the first one?

got boxers and joggers for OH, few bits for the kids and underwear for me, and the pretty cream/red rose hand towel Ive wanted for ages for £4, so was pretty happy! was really good though - they had one set of the pink toaster/kettle on the shelf that I missed online and I didnt buy it, really didnt need it despite how pretty it is! :)
