Hi everyone... Would just like to say thankyou to everyone who posts on here, had I not come across this thread I wouldn't have known to log into my Next account for my VIP invitation, I usually wait for the email. Having logged into my account I got the 9:30 pm slot last night. Got lots for my DD but sadly not much for little man.
My email invitation didn't actually arrive until yesterday morning when slots were only available today.

Started my slot, got them all in my basket and checked out.

The table and chairs went through but the sideboard didn't.

I had the most fantastic customer service from the manager at my local home store today

I went in to see if they had that sideboard so I could plan to go at 5am on Sat to try to get it. There was none of that range of furniture on display so I found a girl at the desk (later turned out she was the store manager) who explained they'd not had any of that range in for 6 months.

To cut a very long story short, she found 3 available to order at full price, rang and was passed around about 8 different people but the upshot was she got me the sideboard, at sale price, being delivered on Tuesday morning.

By the time I got home the sideboard was added to my order placed last night and I had an email confirming the delivery time.

As she was being passed from person to person she just repeatedly kept saying no she wouldn't take a callback / she wanted a resolution for her customer / she wouldn't leave the phone until the customer had the sideboard at that sale price.

Outstanding - and I'm doing a letter to her boss this afternoon. What an absolute credit she was to Next :T:T:T

It's quite frustrating that Next give people more VIP slots despite others like me still not given any.

yes i had a slot for 9.30pm last night and they gave me another for 10am today but to be honest there is nothing worth having now. I went into boys clothes and there was something like 94 items !!!!

I am getting excited about getting up at 3.30am on saturday and heading to my local store. Will go back to bed when i get home til lunchtime whilst hubbie looks after little one.

I'd like to praise Next CS too. I had a 6 pm slot and had luckily made a note of a few items to order. Yesterday I lost my broadband - agh shock horror! At 6 I phoned and a nice lady took my order over the phone. OK I didn't get to browse but at least I got a few things. Thanks Next!

Ive always had a VIP slot invite by email, didnt get one this time and hadnt given it much thought with kids breaking up, concerts etc - got an invite yesterday in the post?? thats a first! got slot at 10am today and got a few bits I had my eye on - I just got some Converse for DS for £11, black hightops, still have them in stock now if anyone after any, up to 'big' size 5 I think

guys do you reckon stock will be updated ready for general public to shop online?

Myself and OH have been after a particular side board for ages and it went out of stock last night. Am hoping for someone to give me a little bit of hope as I didn't get a VIP slot......

I have been offered a slot tomorrow too but I'm worried that if I take it and there is nothing left I won't be eligible for a slot next time because I haven't bought anything.

I am thinking the same Shoe*gal. First time I have had a slot as I've neve rhad an account with them before. I've got a slot at 6pm tonight but the things I wanted have all gone out of stock today, so there's not really anything I want to buy.

Will be keeping my fingers crossed for Saturday
