don't you have to defrost the meat first quintwins? I have never heard of cooking meat from frozen and I am intrigued!
Hope you are being good with groceries. I'm doing ok.

I'm doing ok with groceries I think, doesn't help that my fridge is playing up and not closing properly and I now have 4 litres of milk on the turn
god knows wat else, I need to sort the fridge out later, hubby will try fix its an integrated one and I think the door is pulling it open.
I nearly always put frozen meat in, I dice things up for that purpose and we've always been fine. Some people like to brown/seal there meat I've never bothered.
Ds3 wet the bed last night so instead of eating breakfast I got to strip beds , now I'm awaiting for one of the kids to finish occupational therapy and I'm so tempted to go get coffee and something 2 eat I must resist lol.
Put pork shoulder in the slow cooker as I was running out the door, wasn't til I was driving over here that I realised I didn't mean to add water lol, might end up just having it as a roast.
Need to pick kids new school bags up on the way home.
Think that's it for today plenty of cleaning and ironing to do and of course I'll need milk.DEC GC £463.67/£450

Ammonite, I guess it's ok to use frozen meat in the slowcooker or oven as it'll be cooked for a long time and heat through properly in the end. Don't think it's ok in a quick fry dish as then there's the danger of it not being cooked through.finally tea total but in still in (more) debt (Oct 25 CC £1800, loan £6453, mortgage £59,924/158,000)0

£34 on 2 school bags!!! i'm def having a good few nsd's now, the ones i had reserved that he wanted were tiny, so we went to easons and he picked a set with a bag pencil case (even tho we bought some the other day) and lunch bag (they get free school dinners but might use it for picnics or put them away incase we need them in the future)
One of the kids are feeling sick and we're sick in my car
so not impressed.
Not having a good day, all i can say is it's a good job i put the slowcooker on cause it anyday was a takeaway day this is it.DEC GC £463.67/£450

Thanks TL the kids are all in bed now watching a dvd (in beds that have no bedding on them because i put it all in the wahsing machine this morning and they've only just made it onto the line) i could do with climbing into bed myself but i have far to much to do, aww well onwards and upwards i'm off to do my cinderella inpression.DEC GC £463.67/£450

Kids are feeling much better and are playing outside.
Sepnt £1.50 on ebay on fly papers before i completely crack up, i bought those window stickers while back but there not really helping. thats coming from the groceries budget, but was cheaper and better value (it's a 10 pack) than anywhere else.
Pulled pork is yummy i've 'pulled' it all and just need to sort the rest of tea, would be really nice in some pittas with bbq sauce mayo and some salad, if i come across anymore mystery roasts in the freezer i might do that for tea on a hotter day with a few chips.DEC GC £463.67/£450

Kids are fine now, hoping for a quiet day at home, so far we've had refusing to get dressed and crying. so prob not that quiet.
We didn't have spag bols and pitta yesterday because when i got back mil was making us pizza, so thats todays lunch.
i didn't buy any spuds so were completely out, so dinner is fish and chips from the freezer, i will make do til mon/tue before i get any.
Need to do my ironing today i was suppose to do it last night but i watched the time travelers wife instead.
plan for today
-nsd
-food from stores
[STRIKE]-ironing
-do washing on eco setting
-washing on the line[/STRIKE]
-do a few surveys
- get swimming stuff ready for the morning
[STRIKE]-lift some ham out of the freezer for sandwichs[/STRIKE], we're either going to the beach or the swimming pool depending on the weather. i'm hoping for the beach, it's cheaper even with desil and we can spend the whole day there.
-[STRIKE]put ice packs in the freezer[/STRIKE]
-make pancakes
-make cookies
-cut up old stained bath towel into cleaning clothes (it was used as a quick mop up for the coke that was split on our car floor but this has stained it, given the towel is about 7 years old this is no big lose but i'm always running out of clothes to mop up spills ect, i buy ikea guest towels at 11p so no huge saving cutting it up but every little helps)DEC GC £463.67/£450
