    It's nearly 4.30 - what have I achieved today?

Got up at 7.30 and went for a walk after hanging out washing.

Decided on curry for tea and bought necessary ingredients.

Hung washing out, put more in machine.

Made breakfast for DD1, 2 and DS. And then for me!

    More washing sorted.

Popped into town to pick up order from M&S.

Came home did washing up - girls had baked so the kitchen resembled a battlefield.

Sorted lunch for offspring X3 and for me (OH has left by this point for cricket.)

    Hung out washing. Refilled machine.

Sat down and did Observer crossword (well I tried).

Washed up. Put pots away. Having finished washing I am now washing the machine.

Made 2 curries for tea tonight.

    I am shattered - and I haven't done 1 jot of ironing.....grr:mad::mad:.

Oh will walk in tonight and comment on the ironing situation - and i will probably throw something at him!!!!!!!!

Hex hope the water stays at bay, are you heading south at all over the summer?

It has stopped now - gets a bit scary as it starts to rise though!

Not likely at the moment, but that may change with a trip to Hemel vaguely possible at some point for work.

Yorkie, show your OH the list above and ask him which of the many tasks he would rather hadn't been done. Shuts my OH/MIL up sharpish :). And them hand him the iron if he needs items for tomorrow.

Esp as he was out at cricket, not work. Lord I sound evil when its written down!!

Hopefully he'll not bother about it at all :p

CY men can iron! Mine does; he's cleared what needed to be done today, and when I mentioned that the dress I'm wearing today would need ironing after it's been washed, he said he'll do it for me.:A:A:A

He's also hoovered the whole bungalow, checked the car over (weekly check of oil, tyres, screenwash etc), checked and watered the greenhouse, taken the recycling out and put in the pink sack in the shed, dismantled and cleaned the bath lift, and kept the washing up cleared while I was baking - we don't have a DW, it's all done by hand. And he's come for two walks with Dilly and me, and poo-picked to save me getting off the mobility buggy.

OK, I know I'm biased, but my lovely hubby would put an awful lot of men to shame!:D

all washing now ironed, including today's which I got dry outside.

DD is making great headway getting the anaglypta off the dining room wall! I can see my summer turning into one long, endless round of tasks.:(

  • Good evening flyfriends.

What a lovely day it's been here. I actually got a wash load line dried.

    Today I managed to

    Make bed
    tidy clothes away
    put yesterday's clean washing away
    SS bathroom
    wash bath mat
    SS kitchen
    pack DW
clear hot spot - top of sideboard of DH's clutter into RoD
    clean downstairs toilet & washbasin
    clean tiles
    polish mirror
    tidy windowsill

All I've got left is -
    bedroom window
    downstairs toilet floor
    sort bathroom cabinets
    check first aid supplies
    dust desk
    clean keyboard
    file paperwork

I don't consider that too bad as I had intended only to do level 1.
I've also to finish making new curtains for the bedroom and lounge
sometime when I've got the time and energy.

Dusty - DS3 is 8, loves sport. It would be good to meet up:). I'm not working w/c 13/8. How are you fixed.

Rather crestfallen household here. Everyone wanted Murray to win. DS2 and DS3 came back from the Town Olympics absolutely soaked through to the skin.

I've ironed all afternoon and continued loading the WM (never ending piles of washing). I need to rearrange a long booked hair appointment as I'm working FT. I really wanted to get my nails done for next weekend but that's looking impossible too:(.

All set for school tomorrow. Breakfast club for DS2 and DD3 so that means leaving the house at 7.45:eek:

    Evening all :hello:

I'm delighted to report DD has her meds and they are doing the trick. Phew.
Oh BB poor DD. What did the specialist think was causing it? So odd how these things suddenly start, DS2 grass allergy and DS3 apple allergy both just appeared and I hope will both just disappear too. I hope you find the answer and get the prescription.

I'd help you sort your house into shape if you were close-by, where in Kent are you? Not that I am familiar with Kent?

Aw dusty that's such a lovely offer, thank you :A I suppose the nearest well-known town is Tunbridge Wells. I can arrange a route map for you if you insist on visiting :D I'm back on top of things now and tomorrow is another week... We still don't really know what the cause is; my feeling is that some sort of grass reaction weakened her system, then stress & tiredness weakened it further and she reacted to washing powder or soap or something that she would not normally have reacted to and then reacted to clothes against her skin (hot &sweaty) and so on

Rowan My earliest Tennis memory was watching Virginia Wade win the singles in 1977, my mam used to have it on when I came in from school and that's where my love of the game started, still brings back fond memories.

    Same here :j

    Same here :(

I've done 4 loads of washing today and the TD has had to be used as it's chucked it down most of the day. Dry and bright now thought so I may go for a little walkies for some fresh air.

Flyladies are fab. Would Mr LW like to be thought of as a fly-gentleman??

Love, hugs, sticks, spoons, slaps and sloppy kisses all round. Till next week!!
