    Morning lovelies!

Dusty I never checked back on the thread after posting yesterday (never stopped) but never thought of the radio, Thanks for the heads up x

Rowan My earliest Tennis memory was watching Virginia Wade win the singles in 1977, my mam used to have it on when I came in from school and that's where my love of the game started, still brings back fond memories.

Early start for me today (been up an hour) but my goodness I feel like I've gone ten rounds hahahahaa, took me 10 hrs pretty much non-stop to wallpaper her room and there's STILL the bit under the window behind the radiator (urgh!) to do :D looks fab though. Waited 10 yrs to decorate and carpet properly and boy was it worth the wait :T:j

Got to give the wardrobes a second coat today then once they are dry will rope in OH to come and help me put them back into littley's room, then rebuild my big double wardrobe and THEN I'll be able to give everything it's home again, still got 6 large packing boxes that need sorting and rehoming, I can't wait to do that as it's my favourite bit :j I'm so happy :D

    listy

    2nd coat wardrobes
    sort washing
    load DW
    wipe benches
    finish papering
    start putting stuff back in
    build wardrobe
    hoover
    sort tea

Washing is a priority as need to do uniform so will make a start on that (it's all in the bath as I couldn't think of anywhere else to put it when I was clearing up last night hahaha) it looks hovelesque in the bathroom :D

Gawd I do go on :o

    2nd brew time x

Embb - wow that's some activity! Did you have time to sleep?

I'm fed up with this awful weather. In honour of the torch passing nearby (12 miles away) we have the town Olympic games today. I think it will turn into a regatta, the stream that is normally a trickle is overflowing and flooding the rec.

DS2 has tweaked his knee, it is red and swollen. Without any assistance or prompting he's applying ice packs every hour. I think a trip to A&E may be on the cards. Like CY I am the holder of a season ticket!

DH built a bit more of the Tesco double up deals garden furniture. We now have 4 chairs assembled! Just 4 more and the table to go. The chairs can be assembled indoors but the table is too big. I think he will be assembling it in the rain today.

    Morning

I have a rare day off work:-

    Hoover at the ready
    Breakfast eaten
    WM is on
TD is on (!) raining here yet again.
I guess due to the low cloud cover there will be no red arrows today at the Grand Prix.
OH has said we are off to the gym in a bit (!)
    Watch tennis
    Watch GP
Slow cooker is on, with odds and sods from the freezer, veg, and gravy, should be ok by 6pm or so tonight.
    Ironing to do.
Ebay listing to do, got to see what I can find.
I am sure there is loads more to do, just got to find it first.

Have a good d ay all xxx

Morning all! Been up a while but only just logged on. So far I've made, and eaten, porridge, had two cuppas, and sorted cats dishes, also had to mop kitchen and conservatory floors due to little (paw) and big (OH) footprints and mud from still flooded garden - and that was after he changed his shoes - but didn't see it, apparently, to clean it!

Going to do HHI, S&S bathroom and kitchen, sort out some bird food bought yesterday, then settle down for tennis - come on Tim!! Jonny Marray was absolutely ace yesterday, and what a lovely day for him and his family. Well done!!!

Embb, I remember that Ginny Wade match so well. She seemed so lightweight against Betty Stove, but hung in there and triumphed. Good on you for all your hard work decorating - bet you are chuffed. And I'm like you - love to sort things out and put in their place, be it wardrobes or kitchen cupboards. I'm like a shopkeeper with my 'pantry' - everything stocked in order, but if it was a shop I wouldn't want customers to mess up the display!!

But, I do have heaps of things in corner so really need to de-clutter - help!!!

Bye for now, good vibes to everyone, and I hope your day goes as planned. X

Mumto5 - sorry to hear about your DS's knee, but I'm kind of glad I'm not the only one with an A&E loyalty card.

In the 1st 18 years of his life DS went to A&E 3 times - once with a febrile convulsion, once with a footy injury (broken thumb) and once with a cut on his head done in a school lesson! Since then we have had broken finger, broken wrist, cut under the eye when he was punched last year and this week's cut lip ( there may be more I can't think of atm). I'm just glad that this cluster comes after he turned 18 - and therefore an adult..... so that social services don't want an explanation...

Today I have hung out 2 loads of washing and put a 3rd in the washer, decluttered a 3 mile walk and I'm about to head into town to collect an order from M&S.

I will get some ironing done - I will....

Good morning everyone. Sunshine here but I'm not sure how long that will last! So far today:

    OH emptied dishrack
WM on with stripped bed sheets
    S&S bathroom

Later I plan to do 2 more WM loads and handwash my tights, get it all dry, and do my ironing in front of the tennis.

Have a lovely day everyone :)

Oh you must live closish to me :j:j It is going through our town WGC today but I am going to have to miss it :( as DS2 has just notified me that expedition will be back early so I need to be in Bourne End at 1:30 and it goes through our town at 1:40. Never mind.

Hope DS2's knee gets better, all of mine have had knee problems - DS3 has the black tape all around his atm put on by the osteo on Thursday.

DH is putting the wall colour on

I've done a bit more paperwork and just my dailies. Need to check my route now.
