Morning all, kids still asleep here and OH away to a shoot. House is a complete mess today and it's teaming outside.

So i think i'll get the kids to give me a hand, they can burn off some energy. :D
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Bonnie Bumpkins - what a horrible day you and your DD had, I do hope she is soon on the mend - but how frustrating for you, especially with the job situation too. When the NHS works well it is one of the best, but things like this should not be happening, I get so cross! But thank you for taking time say 'come on' to that tennis player!!

Nice to see the post from embb too - I've been a fan since one of my aunties sat me at her knee in the late '60s and I fell in love with Rod Laver!! Well, I was just a girl - and he was there yesterday as well!!!

Dusty, I'll try 5Live - but I do like Andrew Castle's commentary and get very excited when the lovely Boris Becker commentates! I should really get a life!!!

Flying wise, have sorted cat dishes, made and eaten breakfast and mopped kitchen and conservatory floors. Put more washing on and now just going to tidy dishes and sink, get shower then off we go to Mr Ts for a shop, then back for finals (we've got a chap in the men's doubles too).

Good vibes to all, I hope all the poorlies soon improve, and that everyone stays safe in this rain. X

Been tipping it down here. DH went to get DS3 from cycling and the top part of the track was starting to flood. DS1 cricket game called off.

Early lunch being done for DS3 and I'm doing another HHP next.

    Slowly does it.........
  • In my HHC I managed to vacuum the whole of the upstairs, having cleared the floors and put everything in the right room.
I also found a pile of clean washing; so put that away.
    SS bathroom
    Made bed.

    Now for some lunch.
