Anyone want to join me for a HHC or 2? Just got back from drs so going to try and rope kids into helping out and do as much as we can before DH gets home from work. He was supposed to be out tonight but the cricket is cancelled so might try and get him to do the ironing later instead!

    Sounds productive MrsMP :)
In my 2xHHC we (actually I - kids were far more hindrance than help!): remade beds
cleared and tidied kids bedroom floors
    hoovered kids' floors
    dried and put away pots
    sorted swimming kits for tomorrow
sorted kids clothes to pack for weekend
took dry washing off airer and rejigged the rest

Still loads to do but I'm stopping for now as I keep feeling dizzy - think it must be time to eat!

going to peel some studs now for leeky mash

    have a good weekend all

Have a god trip up North, Mrs Bee! We are near Preston and it's tipped it down - all day - but it's supposed to be brighter next two days.

Watched Murray get through to the final - yay - then (because Hoover was out after pulling out couch to get at dead mouse!) OH hoovered through while I zapped around with my duster and sudsy j-cloth and did a quick clean in all rooms. Well, only top surfaces, but means we only have shopping to do tomorrow now and can chill (and I won't mention watching the tennis over the weekend again!!!). Tea in oven and salad washed ready.

Good vibes to everyone, and I hope all those feeling poorly soon feel better, see you in the morning.

    Evening all!

We've had a rather pleasant day today for a change. Had a clinic appointment with DD about her knee and it was semi good news :D We're waiting on the knee surgeon to decide whether he will operate or not. She's ruptured the tendon and its pulled a piece of the kneecap off as a result  As far as we know its still only a 10% chance she'll need the surgery but at least its now clear what the problem is.

Unfortunately DD started complaining of pains in her heel on Tuesday night which we thought was just a pressure sore/blister, when they took the cast off at the heel to see what it was its trench foot  So they took the whole of the foot part of the cast off, and replaced it with fresh stuff lined with modrock to absorb some of the moisture. So when the doctor came back to see us again we got told we can go home and they'll contact us :D:j

Since we got back I've been on a cleaning spree upstairs :D

    If its gone its done.

Nicki, what good news about your DD. I do hope she doesn't need that op and that she has a good day tomorrow. It sounds like it's been harrowing, to say the least.

I hope you get five minutes to yourself too.

All good wishes and plenty of healing vibes coming your way. X
