Hi there! Just posting whilst watching Wimbledon - anyone twigged I like tennis yet! Tried to post first thing but couldn't log on for some reason.

Anyway, today I have: washed cats dishes and fed him, made breakfast and cleared up dishes (OH emptied DW this am), S&S bathroom and kitchen, made bed, tidied bedroom, sorted more clean washing, then, did big shop for sick friend, cleaned his bathroom, kitchen, lounge and made bed, also washed up and took out rubbish etc. Stayed for an hour for company & had coffee there, then left him with his lunch ready to eat.

Got home, OH made us eggs on toast (he works from home) so I can concentrate on tennis!!

No work today as I'd arranged days off around Wimbledon, and place not too bad after big clean before we went away two weeks ago.

Bye for now and 'Happy birthday' to dancemum and all those others who are celebrating. Pigpen, that was a really lovely photo and did you ever get to look at I Want One of Those' for birthday pressies?

PS Pouring down here ALL day and garden flooded - again.

Haven't read through yet, hope everyone is ok.

Tots got me up at daft o clock this am so went to mr a at 7.15 all was well. Came out at 8 rain was torrential, thunder, lightening, two toddlers is a metal shopping trolley

Got them and shopping into car and keys vanished. Got out of car and checked underneath, back to trolley park, another drenching. Keys were sat on passenger seat  not stressed at all.

Brother and family came to ours, too wet even for ducks so no pond visit. Said our goodbyes, that will probably be it until next year now :(

Kids packaged off to outlaws, I have been bargain hunting. Got myself some swimmies (sale in bhs) and bras, and some half price happyland toys (sale in Argos) to put away for Christmas YIKES IT'S ONLY JULY.

    LOL.

    Not going out again today...

Pigpen - I want the Battlestar Galactica boxed set! Please!!!

I hope all those Special 10's, flying in their gold or silver catsuits look as good as me - think Caprica Six (not!!!).

Well, after LittleMissHappy looking for the source of a horrible smell, and me suggesting it might be a decomposing mouse - I had noticed a smell in the lounge for two days, but have had bad throat and sniffles, so thought it could be my sense of smell playing up.

This aft it has been awful so we've just moved the couch (smell seemed to come from there) and there was a poor (dead) mouse, all curled up in a bed made from our carpet. Eew! Smell is awful even after cleaning it and using discinfectant and spraying febreeze type stuff! Yuk, have relocated to bedroom and time for another cuppa I think.

Good vibes to all - rain slowing here but lower half of garden submerged.

    Collected all cups and plates
Washed up or put in DW
    Wiped down all kitchen counters
Put bottle of pear cider in fridge ;-)
Rearranged all coats on radiators to dry them
Put heating on high for 5 min to get radiators going
    Put memory book stuff away
    Cleared windowsill of doom
Sorted drenched reusable shopping bags, binned broken ones
Picked up DVDs left on floor
    Put wellies away
Put waterproof mattress covers on kids beds, why didn't I do it earlier when I stripped them?
    Put my Christmas shopping away
Made tea, just me tonight :-(
    Put DVD on
Plonked on sofa, that's me done for today!
