Had a few showers this afternoon, so the laundry is back in and drying on the radiators - the central heating has actually come on due to the chilly weather, the thermostat is always set the same. At least there is more chance that the 4 loads of laundry I have done today will be dry by tomorrow! Other things I've done since my last post:

    Made dinner and washed up
    S&S kitchen
Another WM load draped on airers to dry
    WM on 90 maintenance wash
Dry clothes sorted into ironing basket or put away

That's probably it for me today. Tomorrow I will probably do a quick vacuum round and the usual dailies, a few more loads of laundry, and the inevitable ironing that follows!

DD2 had First Aid course all day and DD1 had her second stint in a local charity shop. Sadly cricket was called off ( if it hadn't been i would have had the novelty of the house to myself..)...... as were most matches in York.. One team called off their match but did post online that they were open for boating..:rotfl::rotfl:

but today I did manage to gut the DD's bedroom, change the beds and hoover.

I also cleaned the oven. And whilst I usually clean the guard on the fan by boiling it on the hob for hours in a pan of water and dishwasher tablets ( smells foul, steams up the place and makes me very unpopular!) this time i had a brainwave and used the same stuff I was cleaning the oven with! RESULT - the grease just melted away! I love this method of cleaning the oven - no scrubbing involved! Paint on liquid, leave for a couple of hours and wipe clean!

    bother!

DD had three magnetix toy sets and they were in excellent condition; all packaging and complete so on flea bay they went.

BUT SOME magnetix sets were recalled so they've banned them ALL

    and the listing's been pulled.:(

I don't want to give them away (they really are in good condition) - not sure how to sell them now. I could take them into work but we have one in Y5 and you're always finding bits left round after wet play - and I'm skint anyway
