Thanks dusty kitten - even my fingers are out of control now!

Flying has been more like floundering today. Not got much done at all - mostly due to OH being at home so I can't get on. I also seem to have developed a sore throat and streaming nose. I hate colds.

Had to stop to eat (french toast). A wee bit off my list. DD fed and now playing next door DS2 shouted at for still being in bed:mad:. recycling bins brought in and had some stuff from hot spot put in them. More WM and TD. Off to finish up in the scullery then I'm quitting I might do some ironing later as mine would frighten the french:o

    Hi Pigpen

. ... and don't you just know in the zombie movies that the young couple who, (in the middle of mayhem and gore), go to bed for..... insert anything you can think of here! - are going to be the next thing on the menu!!!! :) Flyingwise - got tumble drier on to finish off washing that is not drying outside and smoothing things rather than ironing.

Another busy day here & doesn't appear to be very productive :o I have work tonight so I'm trying to get that stuff sorted but its going to be a push to get it finished properly.

DD is upstairs watching Bugs Life while I get on with work. She's hurt her wrist now on the same side as her bust knee so I tried to lift her up and I've hurt my shoulder now! Its going to be a long couple of weeks. Hoping she's going to have a proper rest later as she's got a big & busy day tomorrow at her new secondary school :D They've said it was okay, and asked if they needed to provide a 6th former or would someone be with her so I said I'd go on account of toileting etc! Don't think she'd appreciate a total stranger taking her the toilet right now ;)

The rental wheelchair arrived this morning and the difference in mobility is amazing! I can push it around with my little finger its so light :D Its going to make a big difference to her being off school as we can get around and do stuff like visiting school ;) There's even a chance she might get to take part in the school play after all :j We'll have to wait and see what Thursday brings.

Right now I have to get on with work stuff. Ex is coming to spend some time with DD while I run out to work. I need to be ready to go at 6pm & hope all my customers are in a co-operative mood as I need to put books out to them as well

    If its gone its done.

Tuesday: out work evening 6-8pm (Ex is coming down to see DD and will sit with her while I go out),
Wednesday: Secondary school for open day, must remind DD to text Happy Birthday to Ex ;)will be seeing the head of year during the day instead of attended the parents evening :D
Thursday: Going into school for the afternoon in the hopes of getting her in and involved again as much as possible :D
Friday: Clinic with DD at 9.46am! Remind DD to text her grandad happy birthday
Saturday: Ex here (I need to find something to do so he can stay here with her)

wiped 3 rads and some of the skirting boards
wiped phones and keyboard (note to self: don't use handy-wipe on lap-top keyboard, it makes it sticky, LOL!!)

Rotting mice have a very specific smell - sort of sickly sweet. If it is a mouse you will know what I mean and never forget the smell :o I hope you find the source and that it is not too grim. Good luck x

I always think they smell a bit like a gas leak

Garden bits done, brown bin brimming and so it next doors. Just need to do another 15 minutes in their back garden tomorrow.

Taking DS1 to work now as he helped next door and it is raining now then I will do HHC in the kitchen before prepping dinner.

Hall and lounge have been done as best I can manage - thank goodness for the duster-onna-stick!:D The smoke alarm has also been given its weekly prod to check that it still works; I haven't set it off with cooking lately, so it hasn't had any other "field tests";)

Nicki you and DD seem to really be in the wars just lately.:( Take care - you'll do no-one any good getting injured yourself!

I'm back in for day 2 and hoping I can keep up the momentum!

Just about done with supervising homework so going to make a start on the kids' dinners and see how much of the list I can do before my mum arrives for a cuppa. Will try and catch up with some of the thread later...
