    List found!

I was up earlier at 6am I decluttered OH to T in the park and stuck a washing on. I then went back to bed as who wants to be up at that hour on the school hols:rotfl:.

So WM giving it big licks with OH's stinking muddy clothes from the hopping. I'm dreading DS1's when he appears.

I have to next Thursday to have this place spotless for my new WM and cooker coming (serves OH right for going travelling without me and leaving the cards!) lots of mules in my direction please;)

HHC starting at 12 if anyone wants to keep me company?

I'll see if I can blag him into helping me dust some of the lounge in a bit (tomorrow's room, on my own lists) because I can't lift the very large dragons at the moment, even using both hands.:(

If we can get the bits done where they are - he can lift the dragons up while I dust - it'll be a whole lot better than just dusting round them.:o
Well, that idea went down the pan - Mr LW got a work phone call, there was a Priority One call requiring his attention, and he was working on it till 23:30 last night.:( I really, really hope his bosses appreciate how much he's done this week.

So anyways, I'm going to have to go with Plan B, ie lift what dragons I can, and dust round the larger ones (lol @ Short bird's idea that it's the ash of their enemies - at this rate, it'll be the ash of the Users at Mr LW's work!!):D

LW, I know what you mean about decorative dragons - they're so heavy! That should re"ly bew a shocked smiley :)
I have dragons on nearly all available surfaces; the ones that don't have dragons on have wolves on.:D There's even a tiny Chinese dragon guarding the bathroom!:rotfl: The upside is that there's no room for houseplants (which I usually manage to kill) so the only plants I have indoors are herbs on the kitchen windowsill.;)

Hi Funfairprincess - just done HHC here and then saw your post, so just beat you to it!

I've taken that smug look off my face (re my earlier post that we were clean and tidy after being away) and I''ve just - cleaned bird poo off the conservatory windows (yuck), cleaned conservatory and kitchen floors after OH trailed stuff on his boots from a semi-flooded garden, and washed some 'new' crockery (from a charity shop) that replaces something similar I had a few years ago. I hope to start following the lists from tomorrow, and thank you for the flyladies that work hard on making them relevant and interesting.

I really have a really bad throat though, so have now made a cuppa and forcing myself (!!!) to watch Wimbledon- hurrah!

Before I forget, thank you to Pigpen. A couple of weeks ago I saw your recipe for Almond cake (you said it really had to be eaten straight from the oven) and we had some of it hot, with creme-fraiche, for a pudding - and it was absolutely yummy! The rest only lasted until the next day.

Many thanks, here I go and here comes the rain at Wimbledon!
  • Well, done a few bits and still can't find where the horrid smell is coming from - might just make all three children do a mass tidy/clean this afternoon with me helping. Surely if we tidy and clean everywhere we will find it?!?!? Anyway, off to take the dog for a walk :)

As a "special one" you do know you have to wear a shiny gold cat-suit in week 1, don't you...

Hmmm. There are DVDs all over the LR floor and they're not mine. There are books on the LR floor which might be mine but I really wish someone else would see them and put them back on the shelves :( There's only 3 of us but we have about 300 pairs of shoes all over the hall floor. The stairs are clear :T

So lots of clearing for me, before I can really clean properly. Pah.
