I am now going to be brave and ask another question which is bugging me! How do I check my thanks to see if I have posted a comp, do you mean when I go into a comp and see if I have thanked the OP or am I missing something whereby I can somehow check all my thanks and see what I have entered? Sorry for being so dumb!
hiya, in the comping guide though bsue has explained it as well :A:j
10 What does it mean when someone posts on a thread 'Check your thanks'?
It means another MSE Comper has already posted that particular comp & you might have entered it already from the original post. Check to see if you have clicked the ‘Thanks’ button on the original post to ensure you are not about to enter a comp again & risk your entry being thrown out if only one entry is allowed. (If people click on the ‘Thanks’ button after entering a comp, it's a way for them to check later if they entered or not & avoid multiple entries. So, people tend to just say 'check your thanks' to warn of the duplicate comp post).

Don't talk to me about salmon. My DD was on yet another diet the week before last and rather than eat what we were having, she bought a tray of 2 salmon pieces with her. She had one with new potatoes and salad and said she would have the other one at home the next evening, so I put it into one of those 'Lock & Lock' boxes in the fridge for her. For days DH has been moaning about the smell in the fridge and cleared it out and washed everything then bought a 'Fridge Fresh' and put it in there. You've guessed it, his 'cleaning' didn't extend to opening the Lock & Lock and as bad luck would have it, the rubber seal on that particular box was broken. OMG the stench when I opened it, I had to throw the box away, I just couldn't get rid of the smell.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Extremely chuffed with this, a nice two bedroom house for a very modest price.
Somehow I doubt moving at the end of the month after my major surgery this wednesday is the best idea but hey.. can always relax afterwards!0 -
