To be honest Dreams, if I had paid for the iPad I would have been a bit disappointed. I was lucky enough to win one and to me, it's just like a large version of the iPhone without the phone. I use it if my laptop has been turned off, but not apart from that.

Is anyone else having problems with the IPC daily comps? First time I've done them since hols and just getting a blank page when i click enter? xx

Are the IPC comps the magazine ones? If so I am having trouble too. From what I can fathom its a server error at their end.

i've won 2 ipads & tbh didn't/don't realy get on with them
used them now & again to do comps but wouldn't recommend

hiya melv, was working ok very early this morning for me,
though they have been playing up & been very slow loading now & again for the past few days

Thanks Sue, the iPad is quite expensive so perhaps I will wait and hope I win one. I don't like to use the computer at work for comps so thought it would be handy to have an iPad or something along those lines to use at lunch time for catching up on my emails and comping.
I need a new Laptop, mine crashed awhile back and I lost my internet. I have been borrowing other peoples laptops but need to get my own now. Always hoped I would win one or the cash to buy one. Looks like I will have to buy one this week.

Thanks fire**fly don't think I will be rushing out to buy an iPad then. Will need to buy a laptop so hope there are plenty of sales about.

I use the iPad Dreams, getting used to it now but it still has its issues when comping such as ....it won't allow flash player so a comp which requires it is a no no! Also, if I'm typing something or someone's name, it totally changes it to something from the dictionary! I suppose I should just turn off the word checker! I use it out of quickness as my pc is very old and extremely slow but I do prefer a pc. I haven't been winning anything biggish since I comped on the iPad! Maybe I should go back to my pc to comp!

I'm off to bed (early) soon....had a niggling headache all day but had a kip earlier to try and shift it.

Morning!

Hope everyone is well today. Really annoyed that I am up and ready to comp and the dailies aren't working again. Even the Vue FB comp isn't working for me. I have a headache too - think I should have stayed in bed. Got to go to the dump today as DD has been clearing out her cupboards and has 6 bin bags of rubbish!

Edit: My day just got better - postman brought me my £100 Toni & Guy & £30 Arcadia prizes and a mascara I was chasing up from the Glamour comp and the Pixar DVD I won came too . The DVD is "Up" which is my favourite Pixar film :j
