Best wishes for today Willowbee.
I turn the map if it is a tricky bit to follow. Use Satnav, but live in the country, so maps are better for the detail. Always try to have a map handy, OH used to tow our folding camper and now we have a big(ish) motorhome and would never rely on the Satnav if there was a road closure/accident. (Grass growing up in the middle type of roads):eek:
Ren due today:)just checked out Martins link for BS code bag of joy and guess what....out of stock:(....not that I wanted it of course:rotfl:offers ends at 12 today anyway!0 -
Big hugs for willowbee today.
I'm a map turner. I don't even have sat nav so have to rely on my excellent map reading skills.
Have fallen back in love with my Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Cabo Coral (which is of course discontinued now that I love it!) and my Estee Lauder Mineral foundation.
Almost finished my large UD De Slick setting spray so will be ordering a new one come pay day tomorrow!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
When I set off on a jouney I have a map, written instructions and a satnav. I am useless, I start with the satnav but get very upset with it as it sends me all over and says turn left NOW when it's too late. I turn the map every which way but I am a better map reader than a satnaver. In the end I burst into tears and phone DH, I then blame him for all of it going wrong - poor man.
I do think a map and careful reading of signs is much better than relying on a sat nav.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

My style - jeans and a t-shirt. I add the highest pair of heals I can find for a night out!! I love colour and it cheers me up when I'm in something nice and bright!!
Maps - walking around London, I'm a map turner. In the car I can can navigate with the best of them. It's so strange that I 'have' to turn the map when I'm walking??????
No UU or in's for me today. Hope everyone is having a good day.

I'm completely rubbish with maps (luckily I don't need to use them very often). My second REN order arrived at work this morning got the Sensitive skin kit and free 6 of the best and 4 free samples all for £14.70, an absoute Bargain. No need to buy any more skin care for a while now, but must admit most items are now travel/mini sizes. I have noticed that my skins going dryer again after the last few days of really hot weather. Glad today is a bit cooler though as it gets unbarable in the office.0

I read this thread from the bottom up (if that makes sense?) so when I saw you were talking about maps, i was confused to say the least!
Maps: I have a satnav etc but I hardly ever use it because I have an innate sense of direction. I can be walking around a foreign city and I know exactly where to go...
I have an out:
Marks and Spencers Magnolia talcum powder- WNBA as talc is talc.
Hope you're all well!0 -
Not to be an enabler but I saw many of you like Balance Me.
I noticed that QVC are stocking it and they have a discovery set- so I assume it's a new range to them?

DH says he doesn't mind what I spend my money on, but it will be a long time till he'll be allowed to buy his own moisturisers and he'll have to keep helping me with the stash, He won't be allowed any of the nice REN stuff though0
