Yes, you are only on 4, but it is 4 in 6 months, so they could have a quiet chat to warn you that you are averaging out over the 6 allowed in 12 months. This would not really count for anything, but if there is a promotion opportunity and you have 4 periods off sick in 6 months and another person has 1, then who do you think they will choose for promotion?

More than likley the one with 1 sick day, but their isn't anyone with just 1 sick day like i said im one of the ones with the good attendance at my place.

That being said promotions go on overall work rate not just your sickness record alone

Well I asked my manager who invokes the sickness hearings outright if my sickness was causing concern n she said no not really, it's not bad

I meant good in my managers eyes.

So in your old company if you did get a first warning how many days where you allowed in the following 6 month before it invoked the second warning
You aren't allowed any sick its not like holiday lol

If you had 10 days in a rolling 12 mth period you would probably get a warning and I have no idea as it never happended to me but they could say you can't be sick for the next 6 mths and if you do you get another meeting. They could say anything.

6 days or 6 periods of sickness

no idea as we do not work where you work hence we have no idea how the company works but if they say its not a lot then I guess you have nothing to worry about :)
