Hi, I am new here and would like to give it a go next week. I am home full time and have big kids, 22, 20, 18 and 16 and Dh. Last week I tried Wednesdays Flylady but failed desperately. I have a disability which means I can't do lots of things I want to, but I do try! DD usually helps but goes away for 2 months next Thursday, so I thought I should try to do next weeks with assistance from all my boys. Having a daily plan may also encourage them too, if that's allowed.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Welcome Poohbear59!
Come in and join us!
Having a daily plan sure does help me as it gives me both a goal and a sense of achievement. And when I'm done, I'm done.
Before I always felt like I was never done. There was always something left to do, and that used to put me off before I even started. Now I do the things on the list, and my daily things and I can tell myself: You're done!!
there is always something to do in my house, I've got 5 kids.. but that doesn't bother me so much anymore now. I can leave it be until it comes round on the list again.
You do what you can, and feel proud of it.
I've been struggling these last few weeks but will get back into the swing of things I promise!!

Hello from another Newbie, I'd like to join in if I may! I've been lurking for a few weeks and following as best I can; I have seen an improvement in my chaos though..
Today is my first full day at home for weeks so I'm having a mammoth blitz. I can't do much in the week except a swish and swipe as I'm out of the house from 7.15am and home energyless at 6pm-but on the plus side (is it?) there's only me and the 2 moggies that make a mess. Boy, are they untidy!
The lists really help even if I just fantasize about crossing stuff off them. Hey ho, slowly slowly..One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

Have a nice weekend everyone.
Welcome to poohbear and solwaykid. Have to agree that my 2 cats make more mess than me and DH and baby together, they also have a knack of knowing that i have just cleaned something, and then walking over it with wet paws. Plus, the house is always covered in ginger fur, and the little b***ers have scratched my new dining table. Plus, they keep trying to put there claws in my babies inflatable ring toy, and if they see you chopping anything up at the kitchen bench regardless of what it is, you get a cat attatched with all 4 paws up your leg.
Plus, the black one scares the life out of me because he thinks he is batman. HE lives on the garage roof, so when i open the door to let them in, he jumps off the roof onto the bin with a big thud. Black cat/very dark garden and one very scared mummy.

Hiya
Sorry to say i've not been doing too much of late. My dad's been really ill but is now recovered and we finally had our cat put down yesterday. Funny how you just know when the time it right. Missing him but know i've done the right thing. Well, today i'm making up for not tidying for so long as my hubby has taken the children to see his mum for the weekend so i'm tidying up today as i've friends coming for a girly night in tonight. Tomorrow i'm going to gut DS's room and study.
Hope everyone is well, i'll catch up with the thread late this afternoon.
