Goodness. That was scary. Glad you're both OK. Could have been really nasty. Hoping for a non-eventful, drama free day for you to round off your weekend.

Glad to hear Mr Minx is unscathed but what a fright for both of you. Vehicles can be replaced but people not so much! Hope you can both take it a bit easy now and get over the shock.......
  • Started proofreading at 5pm, have just finished my 'five hour' shift! It's been a pretty productive day, managed to treat Merlin's feet again (two days in a row meant he was not impressed, but was bribed with a bag of sprouts - they're his equivalent of Scooby Snacks!), did a load of laundry, ironed all Mr Minx's shirts, typed up meeting notes for Mr RPC, sorted out a few of the eBay orders and did a shed-load of proofreading.

Now taking my cross-eyed self to bed :D
  • PS: Thank you for all the well-wishes, much appreciated. A friend of Mr Minx's saw the truck going through town on the recovery vehicle and says he's not sure it's going to be repairable. Mr Minx doesn't quite know whether to mourn his beloved truck or start getting excited at the possibility of having a new one - think he's on the sad side mostly at the moment. Fingers crossed there's no structural damage and it can be saved. They'd have had to drag it across the road to get it upright again and loaded up, so hopefully that's made it look worse than it actually is.
  • Glad to hear Mr minx is ok- scary stuff

Better a mangled truck than a mangled Mr Minx. Nevertheless, I hope the MSE option (repair) is possible. Well done both of you for keeping calm and carrying on!

Just caught up. Had a tear at everyone offering you help and the relief that you are physically okay - I must be emotional this morning. Such a scary ordeal.

Loving the Scooby Snacks! Going to have to try that one!
    Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)

    Loan 1 £1787
    Loan 2 £1683
    Total £8601 Was £39302
  • Had to take the keys over to the recovery yard today - this is the damage: http://instagram.com/p/ym65fCDweH/?modal=true As long as that door pillar hasn't been damaged and the total cost of repairs isn't greater than the book value of the truck, then we should get it back.

Work-wise, 38 orders posted, two files typed for Mr RPC and four short files proofread.

I also hit a YNAB milestone today in that my net worth on my personal YNAB went positive :D Only by £289 and only because I've got the mortgage offset money on it, but it's another step on the road. In the business YNAB, eBay and Royal Mail are now covered plus £78 of that £90 three months notice invoice. Just another £72-ish for the bills, then it's all going into the VAT, overdraft, tax and drawings pots.
