Good luck with the DMP request. I too had my head in the sand for ages - it's scary facing it all but you're doing the right thing. Good luck... will keep reading your diary if ok x

Its AOK - anyone can read! (But polite or constructive comments only will be appreciated!!! :rotfl: )

Anyway, off to Tesco this morning. I have enough coupons for an extra 500 points! Tescos here is a nightmare. Its next to the town centre, so people park there, cross the road into town and use up all the parking spaces. Parent and child are always full of white van man drivers despite my many complaints. Ah well - thats life.

Posted off the letters to the data protection officers asking for details of my charges! Cost £120!!!!! (Bl00dy hellfire!) I had to use the money from the savings account Car Fund - I wont need it until End June (Mots AND servicing due!), so I am hoping that some of them pay up before then - there were 12 lots and I have a further two ( one from a business account) that I need to send off. I also haven't done the current bank account we use, as I haven't set up a parachute account yet. My god - thats 14 in total  - mainly credit cards. Even a few hundred pounds off each one will realise a good few thousand off the debts. :T :T

Also, I have a shell card application form being posted today. I insisted OH picked one up as they only use Shell at work. As he drives to Europe on a regular basis and fills up with several hundred pounds each trip, I told him to get the thing as I want the freebies! :T

Well, spent the day at my mothers - it meant that I have spent NOTHING today!!!! (Even if I did over-indulge on her chocolate!)

I have put together my SOA for creditors with pro-rata payments, plus letters - ready to print off later this evening during a quiet time and posting tomorrow!

All letters posted yesterday to creditors! And below is a list of what we owe. I intend to update this each month when payments start (hoping 1st May 2007).

The list below is not yet accurate. I do not know exactly the figures of some of these debts, but they are approx. My DMP letters ask for a full breakdown of what is owed so will update this in due course.

    NEILS DEBTS
    £6800 MBNA Credit Card
    £5500 Barclaycard
£5241.71 HFC (Marbles) Accurate from letter this week!

    JOINT DEBTS

£2753.73 Abbey Overdraft - Accurate from Letter

    ALL MINE

£1282.85 MBNA Credit Card (Accurate from letter)
    £600 Egg Credit Card

£160.74 HSBC Overdraft (Accurate from letter)

A few updates on post #18 regarding how much I owe. I have a DCA question that I will post on a seperate thread, but if anyone knows ??

Do I have to deal with a DCA??? I have written to all the creditors directly (except the two creditors who have written to me to tell me that they have now sold the debt) with my offers of payment and a request for a full breakdown of moneis owed. Unless the creditor writes to me telling me that they have passed on the debt (except the 2 mentioned - no-one has!) then can I refuse to deal with a DCA or accept their charges??? They could be anyone at the end of the day.

 A horrid day today. Not in a DFW way though!

Haven't heard from any creditor - or banks about the list of charges (Not expecting to for them though!). Just waiting for the creditors to write back. They cannot phone as I changed the number last year after getting fed up of the harrassment.

But, Friday night, 3 kids spent the night being sick and the other end too! So, I'm up due to feeding, and looking after little ones (and the big one!). Spent the weekend scrubing the house from top to bottom - this is the THIRD time since Christmas we have come down with this stomach bug. I even bleached down their bed frames, window frames and stuff. I am not sure why we keep getting sick? I know that kids spread germs especially at school, but 3 times in as many months?? So I want to be sure its not re-occuring at my end!

Worst bit is, I spent all night being up with the same blasted thing! I am hoping that baby doesn't come down with it - although I am breastfeeding, so I guess she will.

To top things off, my OU tutor called to tell me that he can only give me an extension on my TMA (essay) until next week, the university will give me longer as I have just had a baby, but then I will get so far behind I may not catch up!

So, I have to sit tonight with a sore tummy trying to complete the essay and stuff. Saying that, its not too difficult just time consuming - which is the one thing I do not have right now.

And hubby has just called asking whats for dinner. I don't mind cooking you dinner my darling, just dont expect it to be germ free. He thinks I sit here all day doing nothing (well or not). Poor man, hard at work. Berk.

Feeling much better today! Although was up most of the night with baby Ruby - she is not well so I an knackered.

And heard from a creditor!!!! Finally. Just the one - 1st Credit, who have refused my offer of payment as its not reasonable.

Well, as I don't work and do not have an income and my SOA is based on the family income/outgoings, then tough titty. Its the best offer they are going to get (Not including overpayments). So its another letter out today to them. What a waste of time and stamps. They will have to accept it as they won't get anything otherwise.

Ah well. Eldest DD and SD are off school now for Easter - they get an extra half week! The younger one doesn't though, just seems to apply to secondary schools. I need to go to tesco today to buy some Easter Eggs for the girls (if I can get parked) and one for my friend who is coming to visit tomorrow. She lives in Wales and we don't meet very often, but she always spoils the girls, so I have to get a little something in return.

Anyway - have a great day!
